Typical mexican restaurant - not bad but our expectations were not high - service was good. It was clean and reasonably priced.

Food was good but the portions !!! So much food takes away my appetite! Margaritas were good and beer nice. Why is everything served in a jar these days? Review sounds a bit harsh as it want bad - but it wasn't really great either. And for portion size - you may disagree.

Great service, generous portions and good food. This place has a huge menu. We had lunch here and went for the specials and were not disappointed. The service was good and it feels like a family run restaurant. The signage outside promotes the vegetarian options (which is want attracted us) but there are plenty of meat options too.

We had tried to get into both of the local steak houses but there was a wait of over an hour at each so we headed over to Sophie's. The food was great and the drinks were large. We thoroughly enjoyed our meals.

Don't be scared off by the colourful, kitschy decor...the food was great. You get free fresh tortilla chips and yummy salsa while you wait. We were surprised to find meat on the menu, and this pleased 2 of the 4 of us. Food was fresh, hot and flavourful. My dish included tepa - a plant-based protein I'd never tried before... More

Decor and atmosphere are fun, but even though the restaurant was almost empty, the staff seemed to feel that we were interrupting their siesta. The food was edible, but greasy even by TexMex standards.

Stopped here whilst waiting for our Scenic Airplane tour. Good enchiladas and good Sangria. A large menu to choose from so there should be something for everyone.

We ate here twice during a recent trip to the Grand Canyon. The food was great for kids and adults. There were several vegetarian options and they have kids portions. The ingredients were fresh. Service was excellent! The restaurant is bright and colorful with a nice atmosphere. We would definitely eat here again if we are in Tusayan. Sophie's is... More

We live in Texas and are used to TexMex. This was very different from anything we get in Texas and we really enjoyed it,

Always wanted to try Cuban food and it did not disappoint. Service is great and quick no matter the crowd. The baked , spicy chicken, shrimp is garlic sauce , yellow rice, empanadas , sweet plantains , fried fish all cooked to perfection. The Yukka not so much but when experimenting sometimes u choose wrong. Haha

Thank adiws
