We went for lunch with friends. We didn't poll our friends but they seemed to enjoy their lunches. I ordered the rosemary, blue cheese burger with sweet potato fries and my husband had the Mediterranean pizza. I asked for a medium burger and mine was far from medium. One of our friends had his burger well done and I think... More
We had a late lunch and they weren't very busy. That was a good thing because it still took some time to be seated, table cleaned, waited on, then served. My main complaint was that although they have glass-topped tables they seem to be unable to find Windex to clean them with. A bus boy brought out a SLIGHTLY damp... More
Yes.. it was a busy day during an arts festival. We expected to wait for a table. We dis not expect, after almost 1 hour and 45 minutes to sit longingly looking at the burgers growing cold on the pass through in the kitchen, while the wait staff flipped through a note pad looking puzzled. Food never came....
I had heard rave reviews of this restaurant and was really looking forward to lunch there with 3 friends. On arrival, we were told that a table would be available in 30 minutes, so we decided to wait. After a 60 minute wait we were seated. Our waiter was neither friendly nor informative, and after taking our drinks order (3... More
Nice lil restaurant with outside seating if you want. Food is very good. I have to say I tried the Chicken Picata and it was fabulous...better than the Picata I had in New York. Chicken sandwiches are great too. The grab and go is an awesome deal....great food. Chef Anthony is not only a great chef but a very nice... More
We went to Shelby's for lunch today. Shelby's is a bright bistro with indoor and outdoor seating. We sat inside the small, but bright bistro. Food, while priced a bit high, was very good. I had a salad and breadstick. My husband had "the best chicken sandwich I have had in a long time" and their waffle fries. While the... More
Sit outside, enjoy the view, a glass of wine, and Shelby's great food. I've been there numerous times, never disappointed. Can't say that about too many places. Great salads, enormous burgers, their Mediterranean pizza is another favorite. Give this one a try!
Popular lunch spot on this sunny Saturday in January. Outdoor tables were full, so service was a bit slow. Waiter was good, explained pizza oven was out of service, and recommended alternate choices. Out Shelby burger was very good as were the sweet potato fries. Nice side salad which we didnt see on the menu. We will go back.
Shelby's is not a place I can recommend. The food is overpriced i.e. chicken salad for $13.99. We had the waitress from hell.
