We were in Tucson for a week on vacation. This was, by far, the best restaurant we went to. Great décor, great service, and the food was amazing.

Definitely a unique restaurant in Tubac and worth stepping inside even just for a drink at their bar, however their limited food menu is overpriced and the food is underwhelming and we left disappointed.

We went during Luminaria Nights and stopped in for a snack and a drink before dark. The decor is stunning. Busy bar, busy restaurant, but we were able to get a seat at the bar. Ordered a chicken quesadilla which was very good. Also the happy hour house Cabernet was great. Will go back another time for dinner.

The best in Tubac. My parents tell me they have even opened up restaurants in Tucson. My mother has tried to duplicate their dishes at home. Lol

This is by far one of the most beautiful restaurants in Tubac. The decor is perfect and the background music is great. Two out of the three entrees that we ordered were very good, with the cabrilla being the best. I was disappointed with the asian salad as it seemed like the veggies were just chopped and added to the... More

So, coming to Tubac usually includes eating here. The decor is pretty much the same, Year to year. The attached Elvira store is now larger. My fav is the Mole', but for the show it was a diminished menu and they only had two types. "The king" and the negro. Both looked the same, same price, but red, not dark... More

This is not your typical Mexican restaurant! It is best characterized as a "gourmet Mexican restaurant" with perhaps too much ambiance. We had moles, which were excellent, but a bit too spicy. The service for a large group was efficient, friendly but not intrusive.
