Four of us enjoyed our trip to Tortilla Flat. The drive was very scenic. The saloon is very busy, being the only restaurant, so expect to wait. Three of us ordered burgers and fries, excellent, very tasty and cooked perfectly. The fourth person ordered pulled pork and it was not as good as the burger. There is an outdoor patio... More

A must stop on your road trip or a quick drive from Phoenix! The drive from the city is beautiful and when you arrive at Tortilla Flats be prepared to have a good time. Live music, gift shop, Saloon and a outdoor patio with live music, drinks and food.

We arrived before twelve noon, when the music started, finding a picnic table in the shade, sharing with another family. Hamburgers were great, and the music also great. Well worth the drive from Apache Junction.

Try the Snake Venom Amber Ale - was a perfect complement to my lunch. The staff here are great - if you don't have lunch, at least go to see the dollar bills plastered to the walls, they are everywhere, and many layers deep in places.

What a fun place to write home about. Don't forget to visit the bathrooms, each has a fun character that you can pose with. Food is okay and the chili was surprisingly good. We had a great family ride.

My in laws took my husband and I here while we were on a recent visit to Sun Lakes. There was a 30 minute wait while we were there on a beautiful day over the lunch period and many others had the same idea stopping for a bite. We walked around and visited the store while we waited. The bathroom... More

Really enjoyed the experience and the food was great. There are dollar bills everywhere on the ceilings and walls. Seating is very tight though and in some places uncomfortable. Would I go back? YES!

We heard rave reviews so we made a special trip here for lunch. Once you get here, you're not leaving (it's a long drive), so we waited 30 minutes for a table (not bad). The place is nostalgic and we enjoyed it, but we waited 45 minutes for food and it was average, at best. We had fun but were... More

I read about this place in one of the tourist books and thought it would be a great place for lunch. It was just ok. I sat at the bar. The wait person was friendly but not very personable. I ordered the taco salad and it was alot of iceberg lettuce and very little meat or other fixings. Not worth... More
