Good food. Nice atmosphere. It gets quite crowded at lunchtime so it’s best to go s little before or a little after.

What a cool place to visit... & eat lunch! We had a pretzel to start... huge & very yummy! We had 1/2 order of wings, Cowboy Quesadilla (think that was the name) & and Reuben, which was made with brisket instead of cornbeef. All sooo...good... we will go back to try more of the menu items! Amazing service as well!! Meant to take pics of the other food but was so excited that I forgot.More
...but going downhill fast. There are some people who should not be allowed to interact with the general public, and Ryan who answers the phone for this business is the poster-child. The food is expensive & mediocre. You'll enjoy the drive to Tortilla Flat, and the...drive back. The Tortilla Flat restaurant? not so much.More
Spent a couple of hours in this historic stage stop over a couple of days. Enjoyed two visits to the saloon for lunch and dinner - excellent both times. The little store with ice cream was a delightful surprise. Never expected to find gelato that...good in the middle of nowhere. The gift store had enough nice things to help us open our wallets. The ride in was entertaining in a heart-stopping, why-are-there-no-guardrails kind of way. And if you don't mind that kind of terror, take the road beyond the town to the end and enjoy a sort of mini Grand Canyon from a paved walkway lookout.More
We have been going to Tortilla flat for several years and have loved it right up until the last time we went, and that was the last time we will go. Very few familiar faces, which tells me all the great servers and managers we...were used to have left for bigger and better things. The last server we had was rude to two of our party, he was only friendly to my wife and I. Our friends from out of state did not get the same treatment. They were not happy. Food quality has dropped and prices have gone up. I no longer recommend going there, and I used to tell everyone about. Hopefully the management there will realize that what they are doing and how they are treating their staff directly impacts their business before it is to late and Tortilla Flat is gone forever.More
Great atmosphere, server was awesome...however when ordering a burger asking for it to be well done they said they would ask but not guarantee it would come that way. Also said if it is busy they don't take special requests. How is wanting meat to...be cooked a special request? I have never had a restaurant say they basically could serve it undercooked and that's what you get. Further more it was not even close to being busy. Food was mediocre at best.. Didn't order the burger, would have sent back if not cooked.More
Breakfast was terrible and so far not what it used to be and very expensive dislike the new ways !!! The eggs had a nasty flavor you got one piece of bread for the toast the bacon was chewy and Fadi and the hashbrowns were...a brick of frozen hashbrowns with the freezer burn we started coming to tortilla flats 2005 The food was delicious they made the best enchiladas and the prices were reasonable it was just such a fun place to go the whole mood is different now the lunch dinner menu is completely changed like I said they got rid of the enchiladas which are delicious they had some tacos they were almost $20 and the meat was chewy and nasty then I tried a brisket sandwich that was like eating rawhide I believe that was like $22 are used to tell everybody to go to tortilla Flats now I want to tell everybody to avoid it there’s so much better restaurants in the area you can go for the ride and then just turn around and come back or you can stop in and get a gelato in tortilla Flats but they don’t allow any taste testing like most gelato restaurants do the good food has gone way down hill. I wish they would go back to their old menu with their old staff back to the good all days but with this honor will never happen and the good food sign needs to be painted over .More
We ate lunch here during a visit to historic Tortillas Flats. Hubby had a burger and I had chicken strips. Everything was delicious and the atmosphere is very Wild Arizona. Fun place to visit!
Very good tacos, sandwiches, and atmosphere! Very good selection of beers & menu choices! We enjoyed the band outside, also.
The drive to Tortilla Flats was the best part! We didn't realize the restaurant would be there, so it was a pleasant surprise. We found the atmosphere to be very fun with the dollars tacked up everywhere and the saddle bar stools, etc. The people...next to us had ordered the flat tortilla appetizer and recommended it, so we had that. It was a unique almost pizza type of food. We enjoyed it and would order it again. This place is about the experience. We were also surprised at the crowd that was there. People drive out there specifically to eat there. There are little shops and silly photo opps. But again... the drive there is the real highlight!More
This restaurant is in the middle of nowhere. We we’re staying at the tortilla flat campground and saw this place which looked like an old western downtown. We chose the outdoor patio cause there was live music. If you seat outside, the only accept cash....I had a bratwurst with the red potato and bacon salad. Yummy! Hubby had a chili dog. We also had a couple of beers. It was $40 for the 4 items. The place is fun but expensive. We will have to try the dine inn restaurant. I don’t think they do reservations. It’s very hard to find parking but there are guys there to help with that.More
My family and I went there after the great trip to Canyon Lake, we had been told we needed to go there as it was a lot of fun. We never got the chance to see if it was fun as there was no parking...anywhere. It's a two-lane road and it was jammed with cars waiting for someone, anyone, to leave. There were maybe 10-15 buildings, western look, music, BBQ, lots of people, but no parking. We were there around 130pm on a weekday. Sounds like it's worth a try if you have the time,More
amazed at the crowd at this place in the middle of nowhere. the place is big and we were seated right away. service was very good. food was good.. more of a sandwich place than anything. they do serve beer and some wine. prices wer3...very reasonableMore
So we were there last week, we had great meals and our server was good, but another server was delivery food to a table and she actually picked something off of one of the plates and ate it, she delivered the meals and when she...walked back was still chewing whatever she snatched off the plate, now that is totally disgusting, and her tattoos where just as disgusting. I can’t believe she did that, we were all shocked!!More
Drove here on the recommendation of the park attendant at Lost Dutchmen State Park. Stunning scenery driving up the Apache Trail. Be sure to stop at Canyon Lake overlook to read the signs about the building of the road. The restaurant in Tortilla Flat is...right out of the old west. Quirky, interesting artifacts on the walls as well as all the dollar bills, and the food was fantastic. A prickly pear BBQ sauce, bacon and crispy onions burger and a mesquite brisket Reuben sandwich on marble rye, both with crispy fries - we were stuffed and very satisfied. Still room for a prickly pear gelato at the ice cream shop! Well worth the twisty drive to get here.More
