We’ve been to this restaurant 4-5 times now and have never been disappointed. The view of the ocean on both sides of the isthmus it’s on are lovely. The food and choice are excellent too. Locally inspired of course, but usually cooked to perfection and...generous. I asked for a rare tuna steak and it was just right. Their cocktails are excellent too and they have a choice of vegan ice creams. And the service is attentive and superb and they all speak great English. Enjoy!More

The best seafood you will find in the area. Beautiful spot, and daily visitors from a bunch of monkeys.

I can’t say enough good things about this place! You walk upstairs and are immediately taken in by the water views on both sides of the restaurant. The fresh fish is VERY fresh! I had the seared tuna and it melted in my mouth. Friends...had the red snapper and the presentation was incredible (if you’re ok with a full fish on your plate). Friendly staff who even accommodated our requests to play a song over their speaker system so we could do a special dance for the birthday girl (we were a party of 17). To top it off, they were completely fine with doing separate checks for all of us! Lovely people, amazing food 👍🏼More

Good food, good scenery, but took a LOOONG time to get our bill after asking for it twice. Heard monkeys show up at 4 pm but no luck… however it stormed at 4:45.

La Parcela is situated on a tiny peninsula in Dominical. Although it sits in a lush jungle, the views through the trees are ocean views on both sides of the restaurant. We went there on a recommendation from our airbnb concierge and quickly discovered it...is the absolute best restaurant from Dominical all the way to Uvita. We stopped looking for other options. Great wines, amazing cocktails and amazing food. Here’s the best part. At around 4 pm the monkeys start coming around and the really put in a show. The bar is happy to give you pineapple slices to feed them. So we started going for late lunch and then later dinner. Can say enough about this placeMore

Lovely service, awesome water view and atmosphere (you almost feel like you are in a treehouse) - the food was just ok. I had the shrimp and rice, my husband had the rice and seafood (a marisco). The restaurant's cat, January, stole our hearts. And...we absolutely loved seeing some monkeys in the surrounding trees!More

Very nice place with ocean views on both sides. This was another place billed as a “monkey restaurant” but didn’t see any. Obviously not their fault but just in case you read this don’t promise your kids they will see monkeys. Food was very good...and very healthy portions. Loved the chicken and rice with veggies and the avocado ceviche was excellentMore

We went to lunch here after taking a chocolate tour, so we were not super hungry. The food was tasty (especially the french fries, and the service was excellent. Best part, however, was the view. We watched the tide come in over the rocks; just...gorgeous.More

We dined at La Parcela three times, and the simple preparation of Mahi, veggies, and rice was a delight every time, beautifully presented with a flower. But the view is the show-stopper! That’s why we love Dominical. Heaven on earth.

We recently dined at the restaurant (staying at the Lattice House near Uvita for the week of Jan 21st) and it was fantastic meal. There were six of us; three couples. I personally had the Grilled Lobster special. It was amazing. Three whole grill pacific...lobsters were served, along with roasted potatoes and steamed vegetables. Too much for for one person, but I managed to eat it all! Lol. And only $21K in local money or $38 USD. SUCH A DEAL!!! We arrived at sunset and enjoyed the great ocean views (along with the roving monkeys). A bit of a crazy trek to get to the place - almost a mile on dirt road, once you turn off highway 34. Asked a stopped taxi (headed in the opposite direction) if we were headed the right way! Make sure you stop here if you're in the area. You'll not be disappointed.More

Dinner and a show! Amazing dinner and you can see the monkeys coming in for the night. Arrive around 4-5 to see the monkeys. They will be happy to peek over the roof line to say hello. I had the avacado civece and tuna and...my husband had the fried mahi-mahi. All of it was amazing.More

Have been there numerous times and the views are gorgeous with a good selection of meals that are very tasty. Capuchin monkeys come by and visit often and visitors feed them which is entertaining but also illegal.

On top of being only a couple m’ from our rental this place has really nice views, but more importantly, good food and good service. We went there a couple times and weren’t at all disappointed with anything that was served, cocktails, food or dessert....I don’t know if my tuna was Mahi Mahi (didn’t ask) but it was delicious. Perfectly cooked truly rare and so tender. They have quite a few vegetarian options that satisfied those in our party who required them. Their choice of vegetarian ice cream is awesome, even for non vegetarians! Try the spicy chocolate 😉 Check out the pictures of you want a sampler. Enjoy!More
