Comida Tipica at great prices

Good local style food. A tiny HOT place but crowded, so you know it;s good! Skip the touristy places and eat here!

This is a great soda where the food is very reasonably priced for the amount of food you get - both me and my boyfriend had the fish casados. When you are here I recommend also ordering a batido (fruit smoothie/milkshake) - we have been in Costa Rica for nearly four weeks now and have had many batidos during our... More

This is one of our fun little places to stop in and have a fish taco. Seating is limited during the busy dinner time.

This is THE Soda! Super friendly staff, amazing (Very very filling) Burritos and other Costa Rican "Fast Food" and great Smoothies for totally affordable prices. Probably one of the best - and cheapest - restaurants in town. Located on the main road!

A great address for delicious local food in Dominical. The Gallo Pinto is one of the best I ever had, really nicely seasoned with fresh coriander and tons of nice spices. Can also recommend the Casados, they are very fresh and tasty. Perfect value and exactly what you need after a long day in the water!

Food was fresh, service was great. Lots of options, even for vegetarians. Only problem was the surprise items that are deep fried, food is still good but next time i will ask to see if something is fried. Would def go back. Price is reasonable as well.

This is a good place when you are on a budget The food is typical Costa Rican and I believe is run by a local family. I have eaten there many times and although the ingredients are not as nutritious as I like but it is simple fare at a good price and service is always excellent. If you are... More

i didn't like the burger and fries, but the meat in their Gallo the carne en salsa is delicious (though the rest of the place isn't interesting: salad is just 2 big lettuce leaves with peices of cauliflower on it.) Nothing special.

Ceviche was ok, and fish special was ok. Kids quessadillas had the grossest cheese and sour cream, I am convinced they were bad. One daughter had the runs today. Husbands fish tacos were very average.

Decent food at a great price. The owner was very friendly and willing to move fans around to help cool us off :)
