A no frills BBQ that tastes like home. Excellent plate lunch specials and potato mac. The girls are locals from Ohau and are great. This is a hidden gem.

Hawaiian cuisine is definitely the draw, but the bibim bap is also excellent. Try the spam sushi roll (musubi); it's not made fresh-to-order, but it has excellent flavor.

We stayed at the Residence Inn around the block and got takeout here. Food took a bit of time to prepare but that was because it was being made fresh to order! I ordered the meat juhn and husband had the chicken katsu. There's no Hawaiian food near where I live, so I thought the food was good. Each came with 4 sides and rice. We had enough food for lunch the next day.

The food was good. The environment was more of a fast food type restaurant. It's a great place to eat if you want to feel like you are on a picnic.

Our son dragged us into this place, and boy am I glad he did. The entrees are delicious, reasonable and plentiful. We went at lunch, and didnt have room for dinner. Their spicy pork, kalbi and fish platters (which had a light egg batter) were enormous and delicious. My son got the bimbimbap bowl which was very spicy and delicious. The entrees come with FOUR sides. Definitely will return.
