Delicious Thai food, welcoming

Delicious Thai food, welcoming atmosphere and friendly service. In a 10 day visit to the area, we have had dinner here three times! The food is flavorful with generous portions. We have enjoyed the curries (green, red, yellow and massaman- all very good), and the Drunken Noodles are wonderful as well. The vegetables are fresh and tasty, sauces spiced to your order, and the proteins are good as well. Especially enjoyed the mixed seafood with the Drunken Noodles- the fish is yummy! Our dog was welcome on the outdoor patio. So glad we found Tom Yum Thai.

Tom Yum was a great intro to Thai.

My husband and I moved to Surprise 3 years ago and this has been the only Thai place I would go to. Delicious food, nice servers. Things changed about a year ago. I don't know if it is new owners or what, but different than it was. When you order the spice level you want it isn't always what you specified. I used to order a bowl of Massamun curry. It was always large and delicious. My husband even commented on finally finding a soup type food that would fill him up. I would eat some of mine then take it home for breakfast the next day. The spice level and flavor would increase while it was sitting in the fridge. I was in heaven! Now a bowl of the curry doesn't even fill me up and forget about leftovers. We used to go here once a week, now it is more like once every month or two.

Tom Yum Happy Valley

Every time I go to one of their restaurants I leave very happy and impressed with the experience. Their food is great but I believe the quality of the service makes these places special. I ordered the hot and sour soup and my wife had the coconut soup and I liked her soup better. Since we were eating lightly we also ordered a peanut sauce and a side of noodle's and also a side of rice. A very pleasant - very clean - restaurant that seems to really try to make your visit special - and mission accomplished.

HOT AND SOUR SOUP IS AMAZING

This is a Thai restaurant so their dishes are certainly not Chinese. And that's a great thing. I have never had a bad experience at a Thai place and I can't say the same about a Chinese restaurant. I really like to order Hot and Sour soup when it's available and I have had it on my two visits to the Tom Yum. It's different and delicious and it costs a little more but you can get it with protein. Last time I ordered it I asked for Chicken but it came with Shrimp but that was OK with me. We took some of our lunch home and on one visit I used my curry to top off some home made Salmon I cooked. It was amazing!

Usually the food here is good, but today it was awful

We have been ordering food to go from this Thai restaurant for the past few years. We order often--several times a month. Typically, the food is excellent. But today, we ordered three items (for a total of almost $50) and it was horrible. My wife threw it all away. All three orders had shrimp and all three orders tasted and smelled extremely fishy. It is like the shrimp is old and/or was not washed. We are very disappointed. We have looked online to send an email to the restaurant, but there is no email address listed. We have tried calling multiple times in the last 30 minutes, but no one answers. We are, to say the least, extremely disappointed.

The Tom Jag Guy was very good, however the rest of the food was rather dry or uninspiring. The chicken satay was dry. The chicken cashew was rather tough. My spicy duck lacked flavor. The meal was overpriced for the quality you got

Wonderful hole in the wall.

All star-excellent and heathy dinner. We needed dinner 6 PM on a Thursday night and walked right in. Immediately seated. Eduardo waited on us and the service was excellent. Food was quick, and, frankly, outstanding. We were looking for healthier fare and we got it in spades. Chicken and shrimp satay, Potstickers (guilty pleasure) And a fabulous vegetable soup and chicken veggie entree with rice. Nearly guilt free, so healthy and delicious all the way through. The soup is in a showstopper heated bowl—fire inside. Highly recommend. Next time I’ll get the less healthy curry!

Stopped in for lunch. Seating inside and out. Broad menu. Choice of spice level. Tasty. But they used to have lunch special prices, and that is now gone. I appreciate that the owners have to make a living, but we miss those more reasonable prices during the day.

Very good food. Make a reservation

Very good food. Make a reservation for weekend nights and be on time. Numerous pick ups for food orders going on this Saturday night. Service was slow but the staff were overwhelmed by the walk ins and they did an exceptional job.

Shells left on?

I have been by this restaurant a bunch but never had eaten there. So it was this or Panda Express. My aunt likes drunken noodles so decided to give this a try. Some of the shrimp still had the shells on. My curry was okay. Overall a decent meal but I would not seek it out again.

Excellent Phad Thai

Friday night dinner. Restaurant was VERY busy; all tables were filled. Took less than 15 minutes to seat us. We had Chicken Pad Thai and Chicken broccoli. Both dishes were excellent.

Dining Room smelled bad so didn’t stay to eat

The snell in the dining room was bad. Either a backed up sewer system or the food. Sat down but then walked out without ordering.

Way too sweet, and not in a good way.

The Penang curry, the Pat Thai and the chicken satay were way too sweet. The Tom Yum soup was not very flavorful. I've been to Thailand many times. I am no novice. This was not good.
