The Cafe feels like a family run operation. The staff is always friendly, and they even make the cheesecakes! Eight of us stopped in for lunch. The service was quick and efficient. The food came out sooner than expected. Everyone enjoyed their lunch (I especially enjoyed the special grilled cheese sandwich!).

Really friendly staff. You can tell by the welcome you get when you walk in the door that they appreciate your business. Unassuming appearance but really good food. Salads, and sandwiches that are all a little bit interesting and different. Beer selection was also not run of the mill but added to the experience. Service was good and friendly and... More

I do a good bit of traveling and this is the best burger I have ever had. I had the green chili cheeseburger and it was outstanding. The beef was fresh and cooked to perfection and the toppings generous. Beware, this burger is massive! I only regret that I could not finish it or take the leftovers on the road... More

We stopped in here to grab a quick bite before exploring the Sonoita wine country for the first time. A more extensive menu than one would think when entering the front door. Food was good, facilities clean, service quick and a great spot to get some "local" knowledge about the area, as well as a quick and easy map to... More

Sonoita is a small town, focused on making wine, and is not populated with a lot of good dining options. The Cafe' was a nice surprise. We had two of their 'famous' burgers and they did not disappoint. The atmosphere is homey and welcoming and the staff was quite nice. We come to Sonoita at least once a year and... More

Great food, fair prices, nice atmosphere, and excellent service from the babe-aliscious waitress. We both had different burgers which were cooked to perfection and very tasty. The coleslaw was very good. While the desserts were varied and tempting, we were too full to partake. We been traveling since late March, and The Cafe is definitely one of the best spots... More

This is a nice place for a cup of coffee and it has seating on the outside deck where you can just watch the world pass by while you drink your coffee and inch on cookies. Situated on the Main Street of town you can see everything happening of any consequence as this is a small town. Not much indoor... More

Sonoita is an hour drive away from where we live, but makes a good meeting spot for friends who live 30 mins further east. Made reservations this time for the round table, which gave plenty of room for our group of five [set for six]. The place was full of local ranchers, Border Patrol personnel, and others. Prompt friendly service.... More

Yesterday (Friday 3/24) was such a beautiful day, that we decided to do one of our favorite "country drives". The road from Tucson to Patagonia via Sonoita cannot be duplicated. It is so scenic, relaxing and pleasant. Of course, we are always happy to stop for lunch, and this time (mostly based on reviews here) we decided to try "The... More

First recommendation: Get a reservation, particularly on a weekend. The place was cranking - how they kept up at that pace with such great service was beyond me. Very tasty and fair prices. thanks
