I have only eaten here once, but will be doing more so in the future. I had the cheeseburger and fries, and both were top notch. Sometimes burgers in steak houses are not as good as you'd think they should be, but this was not...More
After a day of wine tasting and sightseeing we decided to eat at our BanB, stopping at the Steak Out to pick up carryout. The bar was excellent, lots of character, interesting decor and a great selection of adult beverages. Our carry outs were steak...More
The allure of a jewel in the desert brought the four of us to the Steak Out Restaurant for a proper meal, a glass of wine, and good company. However, much like the movies portraying middle-of-nowhere buildings with smiling faces and area-appropriate décor, the Steak...More
This is a western style steakhouse that buys only the top quality meats. The filet mignons were extremely tender and cooked to perfection. As a BBQ ribs fan I found theirs to be the best I have found in the Tucson area. They were fall...More
My veggie burger was hard, cheese not melted, roll was hard. Steak fries were over cooked, old and dry. My husband’s steak cost $33 and was a good piece of meat but was cold and the baked potato was also cold. The salad was drenched...More
We chose to eat at The Steak Out because one of our group had a previous good experience. Unfortunately this was not the case this time. We sat down around 1pm, the restaurant was not half full, and our order was taken shortly thereafter. 45...More
This was about the 4th or 5th time we have been to the Steak Out in Sonoita. Today we were past the lunch crowd, arrived at 1:30 pm. We ordered hamburgers, certainly nothing major. It took us 1 1/2 hours to get our food, and...More
Was here one year ago..it's the same,,good steak, good service from Joy and the same two singers..wife and I split a filet,,my half needed a little more heat,,no problem they did it right...everything was great..
We stopped there for lunch in our traveling through Arizona. Cool atmosphere, good service, but there was only one person, so sometimes it took a bit to get her attention. Good food, although my husband was expecting more from a steak house.
There is not much to eat in Sonoita and on our quest for great wines we stopped here to eat. The place has limited staff who seem unhappy, unwelcoming, and overburdened. First , the cook. Not so good. My burger was over cooked to the...More

I can't tell if this is a "price question" or a question about a specific order. Whatever, I have been eating at the Steak Out for many year and it is where I go for the "best" steak. This is what they specialize in and the price may have changed between the menu price after the customer put in the order for the steak.
If you want a cheap steak this is not the right place. I think that $29.00 for a T-bone steak dinner at the Steak Out is a very fair price.
