Arizona's Best Korean Restraunt

Kim Ba-Woo's Den is a modest little place located right on Fry Blvd, but don't let its small size fool you. This place can hold its own with the best Korean cuisine you'll find anywhere. In fact, it's easily as good as any top flight Korean restaurant you'd find in LA or New York.

The food is very good, especially the Kimbop and yakimandu (sp?) The staff is friendly and remembers us when we go there.

I've never had Korean food and was pleasantly surprised. I had the Bulgalbi bbq. The food has so much flavor, a bit more spice than I'm used to but still delicious. A very relaxed, enjoyable atmosphere. And of course, great company.

I had a nice, quiet dinner here during a business trip. Mama Sue, the owner, was also my server. She was friendly to every patron, making us feel welcome in her restaurant The Bulgalbi BBQ was sizzling, tasty and tender. I also enjoyed the cucumber side dish. Definitely worth a stop when in Sierra Vista.

We visited for dinner with a group of 7, including one child. The food is authentic and very, very good. I have been told by friends who lived in Korea and now live in Sierra Vista that they have tried everything on the menu at least once and that there are no bad choices. I believe them. The bulgogi that... More

Korean BBQ is not at all like other BBQ. It is soy based, with spices and herbs that make it really tasty. You can get the BBQ sauce served over fish, pork, beef, or just about anything here. We liked it so much that we got a quart jar to go. The owner/chef was very friendly.

My wife and I have eaten at Kim Ba Woo's restaurant on several occasions. They offer a large selection of excellent Korean dishes. You are able to ask for spicier versions of any meal if you desire. Most of the tourists and customers in general prefer the less spicy food, so it is prepared that way unless you ask for... More
