Didnt know what to expect when learned it was close to golf course but was pleasantly surprised. Food was good and they had a kids menu. Lots of historical photos, skulls, and buffalo on the walls. Service good. Food hot and tasty. Good experience.
We tried them for the first time today. We ordered the Friday fish and chips lunch portion, $10.99. We did take out. First let me say the food was good. The cod was very good. You got two decent pieces of cod, coleslaw, which I...could talke or leave, f.f. which were yummy and a side salad, which was decent. Our dissapintment came at the fact the cole slaw was put right in the container with the fries and fish, which made it warm from the other two items. Should of been in a sm. seperate cup so it would stay cold and you could warm your food up easier. We also thought they were a bit chincey on the f.f. So the presentation wasn't what we expected for such a nice place. They also didn't include any plasticware or napkins. I was a bit dissapointed in the hostess. She was so busy talking to her friend about her new vehicle she didn't even notice we left, or left her a tip or that we said goodbye. The place is very nice but their main customers are only the golf people. Doubt we will be back. But try and it judge it for yourslf. The patio are does look beautiful.More
Well, let me tell ya. Both the brisket and pizza were terrible. The waitress said they were known for both. The brisket was super greasy and the pizza was under cooked. I will not be returning. Terrible!
Dined Febr 22, 2020. I found the service quite acceptable with a most pleasant young lady as our server. She advised their special for the evening, an Angel Hair pasta dish (with seafood) as well as their regular menu. We ordered the pasta, and were...very happy with the meal. It was served hot, and was well presented.
The atmosphere and decor is somewhat unique with mounted bison etc. Somewhat noisy, but for us not an issue.
In my opinion, the experience is rated excellent----based on level of service, quality of food, and value of meal.
Without question, I recommend and will return whenever in the area.More
We enjoy Buffalo Bill’s Tavern & Grill, as evidenced by three visits this week. We like the atmosphere. The burgers, sandwiches and pasta are good. What needs work is their prime rib. Not very tasty, too much fat, and a very thin slice. On New...Year’s Eve there was no rare or medium rare, only medium or crucified.
The restaurant which is five minutes from our home has a good staff. We had great service this past week from Janelle and Ashley. Another area that could use some improvement are the cocktails. I enjoy a well-crafted Manhattan with my meal. They tend not to be consistent. The one I had on New Year’s Eve was terrible. It was weak. It was not mixed correctly and it barely came to half of the small glass. What I had last night was perfect, made the way you would receive at Licano’s or the Torreon Grill. Should an easy issue for management to fix.
The good news is that they will be expanding their offering this month. We look forward the new items.More
We went with two other couples for dinner. There was a little combo that played with a singer for entertainment. The food was delicious. They also had a mini museum there. It was full. Get there early.
We enjoyed our lunch there today. Very rustic decor situated in the clubhouse of the golf course just west of Show Low. My husband said the burger and sweet potato fries were delicious. I had a grilled chicken with coleslaw, and it was very good....They also have an outside dining area. Nice clean restaurant with a great wait staff.More
