I cannot say enough good things about Cress. We arrived before twilight (at 6:30), and got seated right next to the creek. The table was extremely romantic and they had many heaters around to make sure patrons didn't become chilly. As the evening darkened, the space became even more magical with lights twinkling and candles lit. The food was overall... More

I had very high expectations of this place after reading the reviews and seeing the pictures online, but I was left very disappointed and underwhelmed. We had reservations for 1:15 and got there about 1. We pulled into the driveway and told they did not have enough space to park, or valet and that we would have to drive up... More

Impressive setting by the river, but very disappointing food. The set choice menu looked interesting, but when there are four starters, did not find it acceptable for the foie gras not to be available when ordered. All dishes sounded interesting but had unnecessary additions which destroyed or overwhelmed the main dish. A very tired salad was served up

The setting is unrivaled. The restaurant stretches along one bank of the babbling Oak Creek. Each table has its own heat lamp so don't worry about a little chill. The menu says that Conde Nast rated the restaurant as one of the Southwest's top ten restaurants and that seems about right. The option is a three course or four course... More

The ambiance and service are top notch here. We sat creek side listening to the babling Oak Creek with a full moon rising. Very romantic and serene. Our server was so helpful with picking wine and food on the menu. Expansive wine list. The dinner menu was a 3 course pre fixe for $80 or 4 course (including dessert) for... More

Yes you actually sit on the creek. The ambiance and the service is a five! The food was average or slightly better then average. The price is above average, however I would go again because of the great location.

The location: perfect, next to the small river in Sedona. All tables set up nicely. The food: incredible. Absolutely the best. Portion sizes are small (esp the starters) but that's no problem. In any case, one would choose at least the three course menu. The services: slow, unattentive, late. The best food in the best restaurant can be ruined by... More

Situated below Sedona's main business area right on Oak Creek. We went for breakfast and getting out of the car the smell of their bacon was becoming. We sat at a table next to the creek with awesome leaved-ironwork fencing. OMG fabulous setting!!! Each table has a heater in case you get chilly or cold. We had a leisurely breakfast... More

I have eaten here before for dinner and lunch but not there brunch. at $54 it was pricey but well worth it with plenty of food and we were later in the brunch timeframe where most places start running out of food but not here. The quality of food is worth the price by getting jumbo shrimp, lamb, prime rib... More
