Trying to find something to do in Sedona after 10 is quite difficult we found from a bartender at sound bites that this bar is the only thing open late until about 2 a.m. so we headed right over the bar is small but they...do have a great area outside to sit they have live music and they have the funniest bathroom I've seen in a very long time the service was hit or miss and most of the patrons were quite intoxicated. If you are looking for a place to go hang out and get a good drink and watch some people have a good time this is highly recommended they do not have a dance floor and they are quite tight inside it's a small narrow bar most of the patrons were quite friendly. We were thrilled to find some place that was open after everything else closed.
A few things would have made our visit a lot better. One would have been not having to wait for the bartender and server to finish their conversations before they would acknowledge us. Sitting outside, we had to go get drinks. The server never came out to us.
That being said, I know we will be back. They are the ONLY night life.More
Another place that’s open past 9PM, Mooney’s is a place to hangout in! They have live music, darts & karaoke, and if you’re into corn beef sandwiches, theirs was voted in the top 10 in Northern Arizona.
First, they are very good at social distancing. Mostly locals inside with 2 people playing darts. They only lowered their masks while drinking - masks were on when they were up at the darts. All staff kept their masks on and tables, chairs, etc. were...wiped down when customers left. The shepherds' pie was very good , plenty of meat, vegetables and gravy - comes to the table piping hot. We were a little disappointed with the beer. Only really dark beer (porter/stout type) was the Guinness - there was a cream ale that was pretty good. Service was prompt and courteous.More
This is a “sponsored” listing but we went because most restaurants were full - first clue. This place should just be a bar and not listed as a restaurant that should be visited. The shepherds pie was tasteless and covered in cheddar cheese? Mashed potatoes...were the kind that came out of a box and needed water to reconstitute. The meatball appetizer was not bad - the bread was better than anything else we had to eat. The music was still piped for a loud bar atmosphere but in Covid days- there was only 3-4 tables and none were in the bar hopping age- just saying - play to the audienceMore
OK Over my many years (lots) I have had MANY margaritas from all over the world.
The BEST margarita I have ever had was at a small place in Sedona , AZ
Go to Mooney'' Irish Pub ( yes sounds strange) but the Premium Rita...with Casamigos tequila is the best thing you will ever consumeMore

Called and they have a shuttle guy that will pick you up!
We did so we could have a few drinks.....very nice guy!
I had the Irish stew, was fantastic! My wife had the shepherds pie that was very good. If we go back will...have them hold the cheese covering it.
Daughter-in-law had a pizza that was perfect
Good drinks, just go eat you won’t be disappointed.More
We grabbed food to go after a log day on the trails. The shepherds pie was the best!!! Tasted like home cooked meal. I recommend. We didn’t eat at this restaurant but looks like you could eat outside of you ha r a dog.
We arrived about 40 minutes prior to their opening and sat outside waiting. Soon they offered they could serve drinks but we just wanted water. They did bring the menus out so we could decide what we wanted to eat. It was nice weather and...we chatted with other people waiting. They did open about 10 minutes early which was nice. My husband really wanted corned beef and cabbage but it was not on the menu so decided on the small plate (actually a bowl) appetizer corned beef hash. It was on a flavorful broth with whole allspice berries giving it an amazing smell but was more like regular beef. Yummy but not traditional. For his main course he had the bangers and mash which had a fantastic gravy. I had the shepherd pie, or actually cottage pie as the menu noted (the 1st is lamb, the 2nd beef). It was really good and I think we would recommend both to people. We'll be back to try some other things, or maybe just more of the same!More

Good question and one that I asked them also. There were a guy and a girl playing acoustic guitars and I requested a classic Irish song. I got a blank stare. Clancey Brothers? Nope. Chieftains? Nope. Clannad? Dropkick Murphy? Flogging Molly? Cranberries? Nope, nope, nope and nope! They finally looked up an old Clancey Brothers song on their computer and muddled through it. Cost me a fin. So, the answer is "who knows"! They use local talent that offer you what they've got and it does remind me of going into a local Pub in Ireland and having Davie, the barmaid's young teenage cousin that most clients knew, playing a guitar and singing songs. It's not so much entertainment as it is friendly socializing with locals. Much more fun! For specific type music or bands, like Tracy said above, I'd give them a call. Cheers!
