This place is great for every type of eater. I am vegan and I saw on happy cow that they had vegan options so we choose this place. We got seated right away as we requested the patio and they had 1 table left. It wasn't super busy but the outside patio was busy. It was still pretty cold and they do have outside heaters which they will turn on or off at your request. Our server was awesome and very attentive even though his section was busy. We shared an app the chips, salsa, and guacamole. Their salsa was average I wish they had a spicier one. They have a veggie meat here that they will add to most of their dishes. I choose to get their veggie burger since they said it was locally sourced and not just a traditional beyond or impossible. I got it without the bun just because I am not the biggest fan of buns (i'm weird, I know) but I am not sure if their bun is vegan or not. Everyone at the table was happy the only reason I am giving a 4 star is because it was really expensive in my opinion for our meal. The veggie burger is $16.00 plus more if you want sweet potato fries. For vegans and their meat eater friends or family, this is a perfect place to please everyone.

Left the Valley for some relief from the heat. Would've loved to peruse the cute shops by this restaurant but wanted to maintain our social distancing. We cooked at the condo and did several take out dinners. This was the only "in house" seating place we tried. They were good about wearing masks, some wore gloves. The tables in the bar had spaced seating while we waited to be called. We only had to wait about 5 minutes. Then we were seated on the patio. Again, tables were marked off so only every other one could be used. The views were absolutely breath taking as we watched the mountains change color as the sun went down. Just awesome. Our waitress was friendly and attentive. One of us ordered the French Dip sandwich and deemed it "excellent". He had coleslaw with it. ($16.99). Our son ordered the pulled pork sandwich, also with coleslaw. It was HUGE and he had to take some home. He thought it was great. ($15.99) I wanted to try the BBQ ribs and was going to order the half rack with fries. Well, that didn't happen-- my dining partners wanted to try some also, so I ordered the full rack! ($28.99). They were more of the dry rubbed type. We usually get the dripping in BBQ sauce type. It came with a small container of sauce, so I asked our waitress for another. They were smoky and tasty, but I personally am partial to the "fall off the bone ribs". These you had to do a bit more work to get the meat off. It's a very cool place.

This place feels casual and welcoming. Right up my alley. They have American food as well as a lot of Mexican food items on the menu. Prices are a bit on the high side, but the fabulous views will help keep your mind off that while you're there. Our server was efficient and helpful. I had chicken fajitas and my companion had the Mexican Sampler. I like fajitas and some can be very oily, but these were not. The flavors were delicious to my palate and there was plenty of it. Something to know is that they tack on a 3% additional charge to help them provide health insurance for their employees. This is printed on the menu but not something we noticed until we got our bill. So, if you're a 20% tipper, prepare for your food to cost you about a third more than the menu price. About 10% sales tax plus the 3%, plus 20% tip. My fajitas were I believe $21.00 menu price. If you added a margarita, you'd be looking at over $40.00 for fajitas with one margarita when all was said and done. Lovely restaurant, courteous and efficient staff and good food ... just a bit spendy for a Mexican meal imo. They also do not offer a lunch menu, so you would pay the same at lunch.

They serve hearty, tasty food at the Open Range Grill and Tavern. After a cold and windy day of hiking in the GC, we stopped by Sedona to eat. The five adults were well fed with large portion sizes, great variety, and unique options compared to where we originate. The burgers are delicious. The bread and prickly pear butter are excellent as well.

Good food and kids meals. We shared the nachos and substituted pulled pork for the chorizo. In addition to dine-in options they have a large patio with a misting system on the rails and fans. Overall we found the sit down dining choices in the shopping district to be pricey - averaging $20 per entree. One restaurant whose menu we looked at actually includes 18% gratuity on every ticket - thankfully NOT the case here at the Open Range. Good service and beautiful views while you dine.

The food and service was excellent. My husband and I both ordered the top sirloin and not only was the steak cooked to perfection, the mashed potatoes and veggies were also wonderfully seasoned. We will return to this restaurant every time we visit Sedona. The view from the outside patio is stunning.

We stopped in for lunch on Valentine's Day and waited only 15 minutes for an outdoor table to enjoy the beautiful landscape. If that weren't enough, Vanessa was phenomenal with our little 8 year old ("she called me 'pretty girl', Daddy!") and her recommendations were spot on. The bison burger was tasty. Perfect lunch stop to break up our day.

We stopped for lunch and ordered the chicken enchiladas and street tacos. I wanted an additional order of flour tortillas but the waiter misunderstood and had the street tacos made with flour tortillas.... OMG they were so delicious soft and crunchy we had 2 shrimp and one chicken then add the enchiladas that had a delicious green verde sauce and it made for one of the best meals on our trip!

This restaurant is right off the main shopping strip in Sedona. We decided to drop by for lunch after shopping. They have a gorgeous view of the red rocks and mountains, which makes for a pleasant dining experience. The food was good. We both chose Mexican options (quesadillas and street tacos) and were very pleased with our meal. Like anything in that part of town, the prices were a bit high, but the quality of the food was very good and it was convenient to our shopping activities. Good choice for a relaxing meal overlooking the beauty of the mountains.

Bison burgers were delicious! Our server was stellar, but alas, don’t recall her name. This is a tourist restaurant but we didn’t feel up to driving around so gave it a go. Awesome views, great service, clean, tables spaced out, and good food. Prices are higher than the average perhaps, but hey it’s Sedona. Our 2 burgers with fries, chips with Guacamole and one wine, one soft drink came to $72 plus tip.

I would not go here again. It had unmatched views from patio, and that was the only upside. The 14.00 margarita tasted like 4 sips of lemonade. I was looking forward to it and was so disappointed. It really bummed me out. I had one drink and chips and salsa which came to over 24.00.

First time in Sedona, we picked on a random looks nice that’s try it kinda place. Outstanding food and great views. We had 5 people in our group and a dog. (Yes they had patio seating for the dog and even made the dog a dish.)we had a person in our group that was gluten free and they were very accommodating. The waiter was super energetic and seemed to really enjoy his job!! Would recommend!

We chose Open Range because we had a $75 Gift Certificate. Polite Reception and quickly seated near a window. Jesus our Server was excellent. We had the Corn Bread which was very good. I had the Chimichanga and my wife ordered the Half Rack of Ribs. Even with a steak knife she could not cut the Ribs. Jesus acknowledge the problem and offered another Entree. My wife requested the Quesadilla. It was Fair not Good. We ordered the Carrot Cake to go. If not for the Gift Certificate the only things that were good were: Service, Views, my Chimichanga and my IPA. The noise from clearing of dishes from all tables while we were eating was Deafening. The Busboy clearly had no consideration for Customers. Management’s Attention is strongly needed.

Great views & location. Reluctant to try, as it’s on the main touristry strip. What a welcomed surprise! Chris provided prompt service with recommendations on food selections and was attentive throughout the meal. The burger was served per request and the fries were freshly made. The shrimp fajitas were amazing; great flavor, shrimp- fresh and a good size, overall tasty. Would definitely recommend and intend to return on my next trip. Kudos for the environmental friendly straws!
