On a very hot, over 100F day, the Creekside was immediately a great respite with cool, refreshing AC. The GM, Shelly, was very busy(labor day weekend)but was able to immediately accommodate me with a cozy table near the window. I was very impressed with her demeanor and professionalism, one of the best I've encountered at a restaurant. My server, Jayson, did an outstanding job recommending their breakfast tacos, giving me a sample of the grits(not my thing, so the sample saved me from the wrong order). I also had the New Orleans cajun shrimp(1 pound peel and eat with homemade seasoning). The shrimp were plump, juicy, full of flavor and I was licking my fingers to enjoy all the 'Nawlins' seasoning. The tacos and shrimp were the best I've had in years. For dessert, I had their salted caramel ice cream which was super delicious. The location is overlooking the famous red rocks and Oak Creek canyon so everything is 10+ for service, location/ambience and food. A 6 star but can't rate that high on here.

We are staying at Los Abrigados resort which is located across the street from this restaurant. The resort recommended we visit and gave us a 10% discount card. There are two Creekside establishments. We went to the bistro located at street level. There is also the coffee and pastry shop located upstairs. We were greeted immediately and a table was ready for us within minutes. We sat inside although there is plenty of outdoor seating. The scenery outside in back is gorgeous, so if warm enough, eat outside. There is also outdoor seating in the front of the restaurant. I got the American grill. My hubby got the eggs over toast and Mom got the oatmeal. Everything was cooked like we like it - fresh and hot. The huge bowl of oatmeal came with bananas, cranberries, yogurt, blueberries, strawberries, blackberries and two slices of toast. My husband and I had the same basic ingredients in our meal arrange differently. Eggs, meat, bread and potatoes. Service was really quick. We were in and out within an hour. But then it was not very crowded when we went on Valentine’s Day around 9:30 am. You should definitely check out this place.

We had heard how great this restaurant was but after 2 meals, dinner & breakfast we were disappointed. My crab cake was very salty. Another person in our party had it as well and said it wasn’t salty but wasn’t that great. The vegetables off of the Paleo/Keto menu were very boring and not nicely presented. When arriving for breakfast at 10:30 on a Sunday we had a 45 minute wait. Upon being seated at 11:15 we were told breakfast was over at 11:00. The lunch menu had 4 breakfast choices. The All American was blah, eggs were cold and the potatoes greasy. Neither person in our party enjoyed it. I doubt we will give this restaurant another try. It was very marginal and expensive.

We are so sorry to hear that you didn't enjoy your breakfast at Creekside. We can't hit it out of the park every time but we continue to try to exceed our customers' expectations in food and service. Since we missed the mark this time, we hope that you will give us another chance. I am the chef and owner and I would be happy to make this right. Please feel free to call me at (415)305-3248. Thank you, Chef Mercer Mohr.

If I could give this restaurant a zero I would. My husband and I had a 7:00 reservation and got there at 6:30 to request the patio since you’re not able to reserve it. The hostess was rude when she explained she will have to honor my 7:00 reservation and I said sure no problem we’re here early to request patio seating. Sat at the bar to have a drink while we waited, bar tender was a bit rude as well 🤷🏻‍♀️warmed up as we sat there which was for 45 min !!! We were at the bar a good 10 min before another couple came in - not sure if they even had a reservation?; but they were seated before us on the patio. I questioned it and hostess who was 16 said I have a better table for you. It wasn’t better , right off the service door. Just annoyed. This was one of two reservations I made here in Sedona. I would not eat here and I never leave reviews; I just think people need to know what’s what.

My daughter and I stopped here for dinner on our last trip to Sedona and are still dreaming of their food. This is a must for those looking to eat in the area With competitive pricing and unbeatable views, the food is unmatched in the area and the service we received was spectacular. I cannot say enough good things about this place.

Had dinner this weekend for our last night in Sedona. Location and ambience were nice and that’s perhaps what you’re paying for. Our host wasn’t particularly welcoming but I could brush that off and wouldn’t have complained. It’s our server who was a whole load of pretentious that was really off putting. I was able to observe the other servers who were delightful in welcoming their guests, so I would say it was probably just our luck to have this annoyed waiter serve us. When I asked for recommendations, he said “recommendations for what?”, I replied food. I don’t know if it was chance cause thereafter he recommended the most expensive items on the menu. I went with the opposite because I didn’t trust his presentation. I had the bacon cheddar burger which came with warm/cold fries. I kept thinking that the burgers and fries at Habit are so much better. Wife had the umami bowl which she liked. This restaurant was wide open for reservations even on the afternoon of the same day. Compared to Dahl di Luca and the Hideaway house which didn’t have openings for weeks. We absolutely loved our meals and service at those two restaurants and highly recommend them. I won’t be back for Creekside.

Top to bottom a great experience. We sat outside on the patio, which was nice, but unfortunately not close enough to enjoy the creek views. It didn't matter because the food, atmosphere and service were all exceptional. My wife and I started with a delicious wedge salad and then split the steak and crab cake entree. The avocado and truffle butter atop the steak were a pleasant surprise and the crabcake was definitely one of the best we have had. Splitting an entree saved us just enough room to splurge on dessert, so we ordered the peach cobbler and the Hot banana churros, and both were amazing! We will definitely be coming back here any time we make a trip to Sedona.

Upon recommendation of a tour guide, my wife and I decided to try the happy hour here (available from 3:30-5:30 pm). The wine prices were $7; the draft beers (two local choices available) were $5. There was happy hour pricing on some food items and we had the Tabouli/hummus which was very generous and tasty for $9. The other food choices were pricier and didn't seem to be much of a deal, but we didn't observe to be able to judge. If you want happy hour you must sit in the bar area or outside in front. The best view seating is standard dining only. Free parking.

Creekside bistro is just bad. It is unappealing food masquerading as a fancy dining establishment, which the prices represent. I am baffled as to why there is always a waiting list as there are many better restaurants with the exact same quality view. My husband and I came to Creekside for dinner, for which we had a reservation. We arrived a few minutes early and were led to arguably the worst table despite many open tables elsewhere. We requested one of the open tables on the patio, and were told those were reserved - for other reservations. For the entirety of our meal, there was at least one open patio table within our view. We cannot understand why the restaurant would hold their best tables open and seat reservations at their clearly inferior tables. My husband ordered the NY strip steak, billed as “melt in your mouth,” which was akin to eating a damp bath towel. It was a tough, tasteless log. My burger was ordinary. The one bright spot in our visit was our server, who was prompt and attentive. Highly recommend skipping this one. Don’t waste your time at Creekside Bistro when there are so many incredible restaurants in Sedona.

We came for lunch as we pass through Sedona based on the recommendation of friends. One of us ordered the crab cake plates and the other had shrimp grits. We both enjoyed our dishes. We did sit out on the balcony and it was very nice and the temperature was perfect in the low 50s. They do have heaters along the roof line to keep people feeling warm. We will say that there is no creek directly beside the restaurant which is important to know before going if being next to a creek is important to you. The service was very good and helpful. We enjoyed our lunch.

Based on the reviews, we thought this would be a great choice. I ordered the burger made from short rib. Tasty at first but the excess (for me) use of salt caught up with me and I could not finish it. Spouse ordered the fried chicken sandwich which arrived overcooked and inedible. To their credit, they took it off the bill.

We were lucky enough to find that this restaurant had just re-opened for seated diners. The staff was all very friendly and were wearing masks and gloves throughout or meal. We sat on the balcony because we were dining with our puppy, but why would you not eat out there with those gorgeous views?!! We all thought our meals were delicious, and especially enjoyed the raspberry sorbet we indulged in at the end! We could not have asked for a better experience returning to a sit-down experience at a restaurant!!

The exotic description of the French Toast didn't meet expectations yet the experience was fine. This is why we go out to discover dishes we don't customarily do for ourselves. Many may find the French toast to their liking, not my favorite. They have a 30 minute wait daily for any of their 3 meal offerings so there are countless dishes to discover and I would certainly return. Parking is shared so walking is the norm and there are some shops worth perusing while you wait.

We ate Christmas dinner here. Although our table location was a little disappointing (no view), the food was excellent. Kale salad, pork chops, and peach cobbler did not disappoint. Would definitely go again sometime!
