Seated at a table in the midst of traffic at 5:30 PM and the restaurant nearly empty. 7 full minutes before anyone noticed us. Waiter friendly but pushed all the most expensive items. Breads were hard as roofing shingles. Lobster bisque only warm but tasty. My wife's salad was horseradish on lettuce. Smallest 6 oz filet I have ever seen... More

Was here on a business trip and we we're throughly impressed with the food and the staff at Mastro's it was almost dinner and a show with the wait staff. The steak melted in your mouth, we had the mushrooms, mashed potatoes and Brussel sprouts all of which were cooked to perfection. If you are in Scottsdale I would definitely... More

If you love good prime aged beef Mastro's is a fine place to dine. Just be prepared to pay highly marked up prices on wines and drinks. I enjoy the atmosphere, the live entertainment in the bar is generally quite good. But $35 per glass for a wine where the bottle sells retail for $56 - that's a bit of... More

I and my wife are both Mastro's fans and always go when we are in AZ and Chicago now that there is one there too! I was in town for a short stay due to father medical issues so to finish my trip and finally relax I drove up to Mastro's steakhouse. I had a 18ox Bone In Filet that... More

We went to Mastro's a few months ago, and we just had to bring our son here while he was visiting over the holidays. The chef at this Mastro's has created a wonderful gluten free menu -- my son has Celiac's disease and I have an intolerance to gluten. We get our very own basket of GF bread/rolls that are... More

We decided to come to Mastro's since it is relatively close to our hotel while we were in town. AMAZING!!! Great service, and food that will blow your mind! Prepare your wallet...you're going to pay for it. But we were not disappointed. Next time we are in town, we will be back!! I had the petite filet and added a... More

Excellent place. Reservations are recommended. Food was amazing and alacarte. Quite pricey but service was impeccable. Kinda crowded but could still talk. Nice live background music in lounge seating.

to celebrate our anniversary. The food and service are very good. We each enjoyed an appetizer. Me a salad of tomato, onion and blue cheese and my husband had the crab cocktail which he pronounced the best ever. I had my once a year rib eye expensive but delicious and he had an 8 oz filet which he said was good... More

Celebrated Christmas Eve Dinner. The restaurant was very busy but the staff seemed very well coordinated and we were kept up to date on the readiness of our table. Our server, Solomon, was friendly, professional and helpful. Dinner was excellent from teh pleasant surprise of Stone Crab Claws to our Bone-in Filets. Cocktails and barstaff were great. Definitely, a Steakhouse... More

We had a lovely dinner last night on Christmas Eve. From the cocktails, to the appetizers, entrees, sides and deserts, all were outstanding! Our waiter Greg was very personable, did not rush us and offered sound advice on choices. We did not feel some of the prices were worth it (Foie Gras, $34.00 for 2 little pieces, Lobster mashed potatoes for... More
