Authentic Italian, great menu and chefs that deliver the goods. Totally casual, walk through the market to order either eat in or takeout (they do a brisk business in both areas). We stayed and had our meal out on the patio. My husband ordered the...Chicken Parmigiana and I ordered the cheese lasagna, half orders for both on the recommendation of the employee who took our order (and she was do right). We were both very happy with our entrees and the fresh garlic bread sides. Beer and wine selections were great too. We would definitely come back!More

DeFalco’s is reopen for dine in. There is seating inside and outside. It was busy given it was a Saturday evening. You can call in your order for take out. There is usually a line for sandwiches, deli or pizza. The extensive menu is listed...on the wall so be prepared to give staff your order by the time you have your turn. If ordering a sandwich, there is a choice of 6 breads. Tomatoes, lettuce and onion are also on the sandwich. While the line seemed long, it moves fairly quickly. The sandwich is huge and delicious. Their meats and deli foods are always fresh and tasty. There is also a market selling specialty canned goods, pasta and cheeses. Parking right outside.More

We went to DeFalco's after seeing it on Triple D and had high expectations. The grocery and deli portions of the store are quite small but seemed to have a good selection. We ordered the Italian Sausage with Peppers Sandwich and a 1/2 order of...gnocchi with pink sauce. To their credit, the sausage was very good but the meal itself seemed average. The gnocchi pink sauce was pretty bland and just seemed like some average marinara and Alfredo mixed together. The portions were quite big though but I still wouldn't go out of my way to go here again.More

A great Italian deli/grocery store open only for takeout. The dining area is currently closed to customers. We were in the neighborhood and made a stop for hot sandwiches. Loads of choices. We decided on Chicken Parmigiana on a sub and grilled Pesto Chicken on...multigrain bread. The Pesto Chicken is typically breaded and I opted for the grilled meat. They make every order fresh. We waited about 10 minutes while they prepared our to go meals. All of the chairs are on top on the tables so little place to sit and wait. You can do some grocery shopping or just browse for Italian goods. Both sandwiches were huge and we both could only finish half of our meals. Both chicken dishes were very good. They have off street parking. Staff are friendly and efficient.More

In these trying times, you would think that eatablishments would be thankful for any business. Not so in this case! I went to pick up a takeout order and the employee was a disgraceful business representative, as he was demeaning towards the patrons. We have...written hundreds of reviews that span globally, and this by far was the worst customer service. Do NOT recommend! Kathy and Gabe from NYMore

We had a calzone, the meat lasagna, and lemon bars. I wish I could make food like that! All the staff was awesome, too!

This place has been on my list to try for awhile now. Every time I'm in that area and go for it, there is always a long long line (height of lunch hour). FINALLY, in the area at 1:15 p.m., went in for a late...lunch, perfect timing, lunch crowd thinning out and few tables open, I had my friend save a table while I ordered for him. Process: you place your order, they give you a number and they deliver your order to your table. The place is a grocery store and restaurant with very few tables to handle a lunch crowd rush. I ordered 1/2 Eggplant Parmigiana Sandwich, full size Meatball Sandwich, 1 Cannoli and Beer (nice that they have wine and beer) and all very reasonably priced. When the food arrived, all was good, hot and fresh. The bread is SOOO good! My eggplant was one of the best I've had and my friend loved his meatball sandwich. I was saving my cannoli for when I got home, LOL, didn't make it home I ate in the car ride home and was DELISH! My only note about DeFalco's which I was told when I placed my ordered that it will take 15 minutes to wait and it did, if not a little longer. So if you are in a real rush, be prepared. So glad I tried. Atmosphere: grocery store/restaurant, very casual. Service: good. Food: Very GOOD! I'm a fan and will be back.More

We heard of DeFalcos from Diners Drive Ins and Dives. We were not disappointed. I mean wow. It’s an Italian deli as well as a restaurant. The menu had great choices and I went with the 10” calzone. It was so filling I couldn’t finish...it. It was so fresh tasting and the sauce was delicious. I can’t say enough good about the food!More

It’s a good thing we don’t live near here - I would never cook! This is an Italian grocery and deli that has a huge menu of items you can carry out or dine in at a handful of tables in or outside. The caprese...salad was huge with 8 or 9 mozzarella/tomato pieces on a bed of lettuce. The oil and balsamic vinegar were on the side. The gnocchi were nice and firm, they didn’t taste homemade but the sauce did. You can get a whole or half a sandwich. We got half each of eggplant parm and an Italian beef and split them. The beef was tender and really good. The eggplant was fantastic. We got a couple of “sides” of potato salad and antipasto salad which was easily enough for four of us. You place your order, find a table and they bring your order out when it’s ready. They also have beer and wine.More

...and I lived in south jersey for 12 years amidst many great Italian cooks. Wish I could go back to DeFalco's every week. Their tomato sauce was maybe my favorite ever. Could not improve the taste or the texture. The rest of the lasagna was...also perfect. My husband had the sausage and ziti, and was thoroughly happy with flavor, texture, and the fact that we both had enough to take home to be thoroughly stuffed with leftovers the next day. And did I mention that the Ceasar salad was out of this world? On top of the wonderful food, we brought home some DeCecco pasta, always in short supply in MN. If you are in Phoenix/Scottsdale area and DON'T go to Defalco's, you have my sympathy. You will not find better Italian food anywhere.More

This is a pretty small place considering how busy it can get. I met a friend at 12.30 and there were only a few people in line and we found a table easily. As we got closer to 1 o’clock, the line was getting so...big, till at the entrance door and even outside. You order and pay at the register and they give you a number and then bring the food at your table. It has sandwiches, soups, salads, pizza and pasta . I ordered a Gnocchi with Pesto and my friend ordered an eggplant parmigiana and they both cane with warm garlic bread ...so good , even more tastier than my pasta . Great place to meet for lunch and we did not have to wait that long for our food . They also sell deli, sausages , bottles of wine , beer or pastas . You can also order sweets, baklava etc.More

Wow, just wow. The smells that assault you upon entering prime you for a fabulous lunch. Shop the deli and bakery counters for fabulous take home options....take home some bread. Our group shared three different sandwiches and a side of marinated olives. Finish with a...cappuccino and a baked good. Huge portions.
