This has always been our favorite seafood place. The chain's restaurants in southern California never held a candle to this place BUT it now has fallen in our eyes. The Calamari appetizer was good but cashews were burnt and the portion smaller. The scallops were great but the new sauce added nothing. The shrimp and crab dish was okay but... More

Wonderful from start to finish. I dined at Wildfish with business colleagues. I was not the one to chose the restaurant and as a vegetarian I wasn't sure whether there would be anything I could eat. They have a vegetarian option on the menu that's absolutely amazing! Seasonal veggies and mushroom rice- just delicious! The service was fantastic and the... More

Another regular on our Scottsdale circuit and still as reliable as ever. This time we shared a wild mushroom and goat cheese salad appetiser. The warm mushrooms melted the deliciously mild goat cheese, which together with the restaurant's great crusty bread, made a great start to the meal. My wife opted for the halibut entree, while I chose the crab... More

Decided to dine here after walking around the multitude of restaurants in downtown Scottsdale. Glad we did! The food was exceptional as was the service. A bit on the pricey side, but still worth it.

I went here specifically for the lobster bisque. I was so disappointed. My bisque was runny and flavorless. We told our server and I understood it take a couple days to make bisque, but then they ended up bringing us some from "another batch"... still below average compared to other lobster bisques around town. The other food I got was... More

The service was excellent and the best part of the meal for me were the appetizers. We ordered the Lobster Tacos and Crab Cakes. Both were extraordinary!! I ordered the jumbo shrimp for my main course and wasn't all that impressed. I should have ordered what I really wanted, which was the surf and turf or the lobster tails. It's... More

We enjoyed dining at Wildfish. The wait staff was excellent and attentive, without hovering or interrupting the great conversation that continued for three hours. We never felt rushed. The crab cake and lobster taco appetizers started us off right. Both were delicious with our house specialty cocktails including fresh mint. I ordered my favorite fish, swordfish and it was cooked... After trying two other restaurants in walking distance but not liking the long wait times, we went to Wildfish, and I'm glad we did. They took us right in. I thought, maybe the food is not good or something. The prices are a little high, but this is a high end place. They had fries so my 6 year old... More

Got swordfish as recommended by server. Started with ceasar salad. Was not disappointed...both were wonderful both in taste and appearance. Bloody Mary was disappointing however....not sure why but it had a different taste...and the beer taps were acting up with large amount of foam on each beer served. surprised bartender didn't notice my reaction. Other than that, I noticed incredible... More

Description
The only thing primitive about Wildfish Seafood Grille is the swimmingly fresh seafood -- mostly caught the day before and shipped next day on ice. Otherwise, this cosmopolitan bistro is as sophisticated as any fine eatery in New York or Vegas. Burnished wood, dim theatrical lighting, cozy tables, a stylish exhibition kitchen and central bar with several TVs available to catch the game embellish the interior. Veteran restaurateurs Guy Villavaso and Larry Foles (Z'Tejas, Eddie V's Edgewater Grille) have created a fierce seafood-steakhouse combination, which attracts food-loving couples, ladies on a luxurious night out and sexy singles at the bar. Because Wildfish is not as wallet-busting as similar concepts in the area, go ahead and start with a spicy lump crab cake surrounded in a buttery remoulade sauce. If you're in the mood for steak, pick a finely aged filet, rib eye or veal chop.
