We dined for breakfast and had a very good experience. The house-made spiced sausage was delicious, the coffee was good, and the traditional Spanish breakfast was really interesting. The service was great and the outdoor dining area was our favourite part. The trees and plants...surrounding the space were beautiful and the whole place felt tucked-away. Also, it you like a mimosa- for $8- they sure make a good one!More

Tiny and cute restaurant with great food and reasonable prices. We had an omelet and corned beef hash, both of which were excellent. Friendly fast service. We walked over from the Hotel Valley Ho, like a 5 min walk. I imagine it gets very busy,...but we went early and were seated right away. This place is definitely worth checking out if in the area.More

This was such a great find. The staff was friendly, place was so cute. Decorations spot on. We got omelettes, muffins, bloody Mary's. Everything was delicious. Homemade feel.

What a great little gem is the Alo Cafe. It's tucked away down a sidestreet but luckily for us we went with friends who raved about it. They were right - it was delicious. Let me start with the coffee- which may seem silly -...but it's shocking how many breakfast places just whiff big time on coffee quality. I'm happy to say that Alo delivers - delicous, rich and temperature appropriate. I asked the very friendly staff opinions - which they had - and decided on the eggs and hash. Simple, well executed, flavorful - everything you want in a "joint". Can't say enough nice things - go check out Alo Cafe.More

Small inside cafe. Croissant egg sandwich was good, but not large. Mocha was ok. Large patio area was nice. The staff very friendly. Open early was a plus.

The Alo Cafe is our new favorite place for breakfast in the Old Town Scottsdale area. We dined there two out of three mornings during our most recent stay in Scottsdale and will definitely go there again the next time we visit. The waitstaff is...very friendly, efficient, knowledgeable, and accommodating, and the food is terrific. (Try the House Cured Corned Beef Hash, Hatch Chili Omelet, and Lox No Bagel Omelet.)More

We were undecided about going out to breakfast but saw this place a few blocks from our hotel and went to look at the menu. Very friendly and everything looked good. Took our server's recommendations for the hatch chile omelette and waffle monte cristo. Both...were great. I would recommend this place. I could tell everything was made there. Even the hot sauce was good.More

Pastries were heavenly, coffee wasn't good or hot enough but did the trick. Everyone received us with a smile.

The coffee was fab. The service was delightful (I enjoyed the slow pace, but was glad that I wasn't in a rush). My coffee was filled with great regularity. Choosing what to order was tough, another customer said she never had a bad meal there!...Finally decided to have the Corned Beef Hash. The hash (while greasy) was so tasty -- they cure their own beef -- a savory safe infused flavor instead of the stringy red salt bits that some restaurants serve. Opted for the raisin bread toast -- the only bread baked on premises and it did not disappoint either. Perfect crumb and great flavor. My eggs over easy came out eggs over medium. They offered to remake, but I ate it because I was hungry. Then my server brought me a scone to apologize for the eggs not being perfect. Lots of shady seating outdoors. I think there was seating indoors, but I never went inside.More

Found a great little cafe in Old Town...for breakfast but also serves lunch! Tried a variety of international cuisine all excellent. Standard breakfast was also available... Many items were made from scratch and the coffees were especially delish! Very reasonably priced-large portions, excellent service...Does not...disappoint- give it a try you will be pleasantly surprised👍🇨🇦More

Found this little gem while staying at the winery Suites of Scottsdale. It's literally across the street. It was a converted garage into a tiny quaint breakfast lunch restaurant. Food was absolutely amazing. Service was Superior. Friendly. You can tell it's a local place as...you listen to the conversations we're just catching up their summer travels. Hope you are well had some very interesting items on the menu from South Africa Ethiopia I'm about to taste their Ethiopian toast or crinkle. It looks absolutely amazing, see picture. Coffee was delicious. And it's literally one block from Old Town Scottsdale so it's a fabulous little place to stop get fueled up and then go on your journey of OldMore

Went here for breakfast -- wonderful. Friends had the omelet, hubby & I shared the French Toast Crescent roll! Awesome. And the bacon was the best I've ever had at a restaurant. Just perfect. The place is small -- maybe about 25 or so seats...inside plus more on the patio. It was a bit hidden from the street -- it is about a lock from the Western History Museum in Old Town Scottsdale -- GPS sent us to a First Street address in a mobile home park! But we'll return on our next visit to Scottsdale. Oh, and the prices were very reasonable!More

We were referred to this cafe by a friend of our's in western Canada who has roots in Estonia as does this restaurant. We visited it not really expecting much and were very pleasantly surprised by its quality of food and service. It is small...and quaint with a very good menu; quality breakfast and lunch selections; wonderful servers and a welcome from an owner. We were in Phoenix for nine days and at this restaurant four times. That likely says enough!More

I am not sure; I know we did not order that meal. The food we ate at this restaurant was great however.
