Take it from an Italian (me) who has travelld the world as a photo journalist. The food and the charming atmosphere in tis great Trattoria will leave you with only one hope: to come back soon and try more of the refined italian recipes that...Roberto and Susan know very well how to prepare from their decennial experience in italian restaurants all over the USA. Do not miss out on this.ReallyMore

Moved to Tucson a year ago and I returned to Veneto for lunch during a quick trip to Scottsdale last week. What a pleasure – such nice greetings from the staff and owner. Dining on the patio was so nice and the food was exactly...as I remembered. Was impressed with their offer of spray hand sanitizer before I was seated. Then I saw table signs about Covid safety, a really good idea. Makes you feel more comfortable about dining out when you know a place is taking such precautions. Look forward to my next visit.More

The owner was among the rudest men we've ever encountered. The nasty "soup guy" from Seinfeld has nothing on this guy!! We were told not to pay any attention to his odd temper tantrums and nasty disposition - that he was just having "a bad...day." Perhaps he ate the stale bread, greasy food, and poor wine that his restaurant was serving? Never again! Everything was dirty and grimy, too, which was surprising in the Covid era. Very disappointing.More

We have been able to eat here two times with five attempts. The food was good (not so fantastic as some are saying) and well prepared but the front desk service is rude. Once we were told only the “favorites” could be seated as they...expected a large snowbird turnout. Another time we were told too close to closing for lunch. On an occasion when we were seating our waiter made no effort to engage and seemed every request was an imposition. Although we enjoy good Italian food we are not sure we are willing to put up with this.More

We went to this restaurant because of the good reviews and we were not disappointed. I got the filet of beef and creme brûlée and they were both delicious.

I didn't even get there. I called to make a reservation and asked if they are following social distancing guidelines, ( every other table ) and the gentlemen with a heavy accent says, "we try". I asked about the patio and he said yes. I...said ok, I'd like to make a reservation for Saturday. He says " why do you want to come on Saturday when it's so busy if you're so afraid to come in". I hung up! I understand they have had tough times, but this is unacceptable. He was just nasty! Probably does not adhere to any CDC guidelines. That's just my opinion. It's my opinion is that if this is what happens when I'm not even there yet, what goes on that you can't see.......More

Great job of sanitizing and social distancing upon entry. Our server was very friendly and attentive. We shared an excellent carpaccio as an appetizer. I had a fantastic Osso Bucco and the wife had a wonderful gnocchi. Highly recommend this local establishment!

Italian food is our favorite and we go to Italy every couple of years and this was almost certainly the best Italian meal we have had outside Italy and better than most in Italy, yes really it was that good. It certainly helped due to...COVID-19 with more separation than normal and maybe less tables per server but the service was so nice and real Italian friendly, great menu for food and wine but the food stood out as really stunning, perfect all around. And all at very reasonable prices. This will be our default special restaurant going forward, very highly recommended.More

Went to dinner on May 27th with the wife and was blown away by the service, food and value. The rare resturante where the waiters are older and take their job SERIOUSLY and it shows. Waiter changed my mind several times as he effortlessly described...the specials without hesiataion and knew intimate details about each dish. Good value, GREAT food and good value. If this place was in NY or LA it would easily be a $200 meal with drinks but it was $88 for Chickan Piccatta, Homemade linguine in seafood red sauce that was spicey and had shrimp, scallops, muscles and sea bass... not to mention an Arrugula Salad in a light dressing 2 perroni's and a glass of wine...More

My meal here was incredible. I enjoyed a decent glass of red wine to start. I also had a nice helping of fresh, warm bread with olive oil and vinegar before my meal. I had the Alaska Halibut as my meal (the special that evening)....When I ordered, the server remarked, "excellent choice." Excellent choice, indeed! It was cooked to perfection! I highly recommend this place. It beats the competition hands down. You won't be sorry.More
