Not enough staff to cover the very few tables occupied on Tuesday evening @ 7pm. Service is split between those who take orders, those who just serve food and those who bring wAter and bread. Should work just fine with enough staff but with only one person to take/correct orders in the restaurant we felt abandoned. We certainly couldn't get... More

The flamenco dancer was remarkable and the highlight of the evening. Food was consistently very good, including generous paellas. Beautiful setting, great for large groups (I was part of a party of ten).

Atmosphere and Service = 5 star Entertainment = 4 star Pricing of food = 3 star Food itself = 2 star So...I've spent quite a bit of time in Spain, even living there full time for over a year, and have tried and tried to find a place in Phoenix to get an authentic paella. I was excited to try... More

Four of us dined on a Friday night. It was cold outside, so we skipped the beautiful patio with view of the canal and ate inside. The restaurant is festive and interesting, with a warm ambiance. We thoroughly enjoyed the food. Two of us had the $45 fixed price meal which included pretty much one piece per person of 6... More

Had a delightful dinner with a party of 8 on the side porch. Dishes were delicious, but like all tapas the bill can add up very quickly especially with a big party. The prices seem reasonable but the portions are so tiny, you need to keep ordering more. The patio with music and fire pit going are beautifully romantic and... More

Much to our delight, we obtained a spacious corner table. The mezquita arches and live flamenco band were distinctly Spanish. Our server was most definitely a native of Peninsular Spain, but not at all welcoming. The cerdo (pork tenderloin), tortilla española (potato omelette), and gambas al ajillo (garlic shrimp) were fantastic. The jamón serrano (the staple of Spanish tapas) was... More

for an excellent tapas experience! Features a great selection of wines, tapas and entrees. They have a chef's special which includes a sampling of several of their (presumably) favorite tapas, paella and "Chef's choice, digestive after dinner drink" for $45/pp. What is not publicized, but our excellent waiter, Eduardo, made a point of telling us is that you may choose... It was a cool Sunday night when we ate here, so we sat inside and it was nearly empty. But it's a very nice atmosphere, the menu is extensive and has a wide range of authentic Spanish items (even noting which region they come from), and the food was very tasty. We had croquetas (good, not exceptional), stuffed bacon-wrapped dates... More
