Oh my gosh. Hush is awesome! We had such a great experience. Fabulous food, excellent service and even a visit from one of the owners. We will definitely be back!

Oh my word! where to begin? SO good, SO friendly, SO amazing! My friend (a restaurant owner for 27 years!) and I were in Scottsdale for a business appointment. We had wanted to return to a restaurant we had tried in the past but when...we got there at 8 PM there was at least a 45 minute wait. We were so bummed so decided to TRY to just find something "decent" ..called a couple places and told there were similar wait times...limited dining capacity really cuts down on options! Saw a review for Hush and called..tge woman who answered was SO friendly and said yep we have availability so come down and see us! OK!!! So it was a LITTLE bit of a drive from where we were but off we go! SO over the top happy we did! From the moment we arrived until we left, the entire staff and owner was genuinely gracious and thankful! It was busy but not so much that service suffered..at all! But ...how was the food going to be?? well...SIMPLY AMAZING! We shared this divine Liver Mousse with drunken cherries as an App..we almost came to blows to see who could get that last little bit...SO very yummy and a unique presentation...luckily we also had a very nice bottle of wine to share. SO we were starting to feel like we were going to overcome our sadness about the other place we tried....and THEN.. we had our entrees and oh yeah! I had the Italian Beef (asked the server for her recommendation and she was right about this!!) So divine! My friend had a new dish just put on the menu THAT day...pasta with a lamb ragout..another winner!! We were now stuffed but decided we just HAD to try the famous date cake! PERFECT ending to a FABULOUS meal..I know I am gushing here but it honestly was SO worth it!!! All I can say is that when we left, we had both been grateful that "other place" was too busy to get in...lol We have already decided that when we return to the area...HUSH will be THE place we eat. We just want to SHOUT out to anyone looking for a FABULOUS dining experience...you must try it!!More

Finally got to visit Hush and used a gift certificate we received for Christmas. From the reviews we were really excited to try this place out. It isn't bad I guess great for a local spot. We sat in the dining room because the bar...was busy and very noisy. The decor at best can be described as minimalistic. Our server was extremely bubbly and somewhat over-anxious to serve us. The menu is limited as is the wine and beer list. The best thing we had was the treviso salad, grilled radicchio topped with parmesan and a nice light anchovie dressing. I ordered the salmon which was good but I don't think the salmon was as good of quality as the the Faroe Island salmon I have purchased from a popular local seafood shop and cooked myself. The vegetables that came with it were very tasty and cooked perfectly. My husband ordered the Italian beef without bread and that for him was a big mistake. It came looking like a bowl of soup and although tasty there was barely any beef in it. I had a glass of an Spanish Roja wine which was good but light. I prefer heartier reds. My husband had a Woodbridge bourbon and he was pleased with the 2 oz pour. We felt it was a little pricey for what they offered. Our bill came to $100.00, luckily we had a $50.00 gift certificate. This place is a great gathering place for locals that don't want to deal with the business of Kierland or the Quarter. It is very relaxed and dress as you are kind of place.More

What a disappointment! After hearing rave reviews about Hush for almost a year our party of 4 decided that, of all the restaurants in 85254 and beyond, we would try HUSH for a special occasion on a Wednesday evening in February 2020. Our 7:00 PM...reservation started off well and we were seated promptly. The restaurant was crowded and that's when things started to go downhill. It didn't take long to determine that the noise level was off the chart and we could barely hear each other talk and even worse, we could barely hear the server tells us about the menu. In retrospect, this is when we should have left and head to one of the many many restaurants in Kierland or Scottsdale Quarter. We received the menu and it was very confusing, to say the least. There is no organization to it at all. It is just a random list of offerings in no particular order, no headings, no groupings of the menu items they offer. I decided to try the Hamburger ($18.00) which was 'sandwiched' in the middle of the menu. Little did I know it was the only item on the menu that was not available! Well, if the noise level was reasonable I would have heard the server tell our table of 4 that they were out of the Hamburger when she greeted us with the one page, one-sided menu. In fairness, the food we did order was fine, but nothing special, and the service was competent but not exceptional. So, that's enough about the restaurant, food, noise level, etc. In the 50+ years of eating at restaurants, I believe I can call myself an experienced diner. I can't remember the last time a restaurant I patronized was out of a Hamburger menu item. An acquaintance of mine knows the owners and claims they are experienced restauranteurs and I am sure they are. BUT, to run out of the ingredients of a hamburger menu item is, in my opinion, inexcusable. It seems to me that an experienced manager could have predicted such a situation and placed an emergency order with their purveyor or in an extreme case they could call in a favor from one of their restaurant buddies for a simple favor of a few pounds of the missing ingredient. Another solution would have been to have one of the many food delivery companies head over to Fry's or Safeway and resolve the issue. In summary, if you want to see or be seen HUSH may be the place for you. On the other hand, if you want to enjoy a nice quiet evening out with friends HUSH is not the place. How ironic that a restaurant named HUSH is anything but.More

The food is very good, creative and well presented. They have recently expanded the dining area. Unfortunately the expanded space is stark, cold and unwelcoming. We felt as if we were seated at the "children's table" at Thanksgiving. While we do like classic rock music,...it didn't seem appropriate for the venue, and it was very loud, at least in the room we were in. Maybe in the main dining room, where everyone wants to be seated (withe the open kitchen, etc....) it wasn't as loud. Still seemed like an odd choice of music. We will go back as we live in the neighborhood and the food is very good and the service is attentive.More

Our server was friendly and professional, food was very good! Pan seared scallops, tender and seared to perfection, smoked wings, flavorful and moist, and great burgers, we all enjoyed. Tables and chairs are more for a younger crowd and a little loud. But the atmosphere...was upbeat. A little pricy Recommended!More

So for the title I was thinking “Don’t Come Here; I don’t want extremely long waits” but this place deserves a great reputation. It’s a chef driven style restaurant
