It is hard to get a reservation at this new restaurant but well worth the effort. The margarita was very good and tasted as though it was made with fresh squeezed limes. The pork belly lettuce wraps are incredible. They have many complex flavors that are melded together perfectly. I had the pork shoulder dish with chorizo and it was... More

This is a great Mexican restaurant with a tweak. Maybe we can call Mexican fusion. This is not traditional Mexican recipes but original creation. They make the guatomole in front of you and you can choose your ingredients. The service was really good and all the dishes of our group was enjoyed. We will go back!

Where do you have a wait for a table on a Tuesday night? At The Mission... But it's well worth the wait. In a market that boasts many wonderful restaurant options, The Mission is at the top of the list. Located in Old Town Scottsdale, it features both indoor and outdoor seating, attentive servers, and a broad range of Latin... More

The service is excellent and the food was good. The coffee comes with a shortbread cookie that's delicious. A tad expensive though all in all.

Visited The Mission with great anticipation based on the reviews and rating. Got seated promptly by the hostess; they were short of menus, so had to wait for another table to finish ordering. (My first experience with a restaurant not having enough menus.) The waiter came by the table and I ordered the mahi mahi, but was told they were... More

Fantastic service and VERY helpful on suggesting things. It's Mexican? with a nouveau twist. It's a guacamole unlike any I've ever had before and it was wonderful! (made tableside) We all had different meals and we all enjoyed what we had chosen. A GREAT choice for dinner but make a reservation!

This is one of my favorite places. I love the ambiance, the drinks are always perfect (the Mission margarita), and the food never disappoints. The portions are perfect, the presentation is tasteful, and the guacamole prepared at your table is a nice touch. The service varies, but it's mostly good. The tacos are delicious (the chicken, fish and beef), and... More

My husband and I enjoyed a late lunch/early dinner at the Mission. We started with a margarita and it was great. The table side guacamole is a must have and the steak tacos are out of this world. The chicken tacos were also good, but we both preferred the steak. The service was ok. They do have an afternoon menu... More

We ate here as part of our Arizona Food Tour. They were very helpful to a member of our group with a food restriction. I would love to go back and eat an entire meal!

I had the duck per recommendation of our waiter (Ben?) and it was fabulous. The Hardy cabernet was the best wine of the weekend. Our cheese plate came out late and they didn't charge us for it.

Old Town Scottsdale’s heart is beating to a Latin drum, now that The Mission has arrived and brightened the restaurant scene. Renowned Zinc Bistro Chef Matt Carter is now cooking up modern Latin cuisine blending influences from Spain, Mexico, Central America and South America. Home made Tortillas, Arepas, and Salsas are made fresh daily and all meats are prepared on a Plancha or a grill using pecan and mesquite wood that instills a rich flavor.
