Everything we had was exceptionally good, I'm spoiled by restaurants in NYC so I don't usually have very high expectations out of the city. The service was excellent and the food was delicious!

What a disappointment. Been here many times over the years. Knew something was wrong when during Car Show season room was half empty. Hostesses were the last friendly face we saw. Server was surly and annoyed to be there, food took forever, Grouper needed a steak knife. I took a good look on my way out...

We had not idea where we were going to eat lunch. We flew into Arizona two days prior and had a lot of activities scheduled with no time to research a great place to eat. All I remember is that we wanted Mexican food and we were in Old Town. It was 11:30 when we discovered this place and decided... More

This is one of the best restaurants in Scottsdale with a southwest flair. Make a reservation because this is sought after dining. The ambience is divine and so is the food.

We were here for a birthday party and had a wonderful time! The atmosphere in this old building is amazing and intimate. The food is so good and I was happy to hear they are opening another location in Kierland.

New restaurant, opened yesterday. Stopped in for a drink on the patio. Great location and nice atmosphere. Very expensive. Margueritas $14, not that impressed with the drink itself. New employees working through the kinks. Latin Mexican cuisine. Probably won't return.

We have been to Old Town Mission many times-so our decision was to try the new Kierland location and we were blown away-An expansive building that sets the standard for new restaurants in that area-Food and wine are very similar if not exactly the same-The menu can be a little confusing so your server will guide you through it-As usual... My dinner at the Mission was a highlight of a long weekend girls trip. The server (Greg) was attentive, knowledgeable and had some tremendous (and delicious) recommendations. The tableside guac was the best guacamole I've ever had, coupled with an avocado margarita that is a must try (and not for those with an aversion to "thick" drinks)...the meal ended with... More

Lovely patio area with heaters to make it feel cozy. We had the tableside guac, skirt steak tacos and butternut squash tacos and all was delicious! Chips and salsa were yummy and service was excellent.. Never an empty water glass or chip bowl!

New restaurant in Kierland Commons and a good one. Latin Mexican cuisine in a contemporary setting with a mission flair. Excellent menu from appetizers to small plates and very creative entrees. Highly recommend a visit.

Description
Old Town Scottsdale’s heart is beating to a Latin drum, now that The Mission has arrived and brightened the restaurant scene. Renowned Zinc Bistro Chef Matt Carter is now cooking up modern Latin cuisine blending influences from Spain, Mexico, Central America and South America. Home made Tortillas, Arepas, and Salsas are made fresh daily and all meats are prepared on a Plancha or a grill using pecan and mesquite wood that instills a rich flavor.
