This restaurant is hard to get in (very popular), but the food is excellent and the service very attentive. There were people with children there, but the noise level is high and it is very disconcerting to small children. It is also not geared to them. This is a great restaurant for adult dining.

I LOVE The Mission. For a taste of the Southwest, great ambiance, great location, you can't beat this place. Has a lovely outdoor garden in the back as well as outdoor seating in the front! Come enjoy Old Town Scottsdale at this charming restaurant! You will not be sorry!!!

5 star dining in the desert. Modern Southwest cuisine specializing in pork. Atmosphere, food & drinks are always perfect. Don't be afraid to sit outside or in back(charming). Avocado margarita worthy of starting an international craze.

Can't say enough about this place. The food was magnificent and creative with right-sized portions and pricing. The ambient was delightfully intimate yet lively. And the waitstaff: superb! Don't miss the house-made guacamole and the churros with a mini milkshake. A+++

This was our second visit. The service and food here is excellent. We had guacamole prepared at the table and wings, followed by fish tacos. All fantastic. We sat on the terrace which was quite warm but a lot quieter that inside which was very loud and buzzy. Would definitely come back next time we are in Scottsdale....

Friendly welcome by staff, and seated immediately. Waiter was funny, charming and very helpful. He pointed out that the Maui Maui was excellent with the guacamole made at table site was a hit. He was correct. My friend Cindy had the Maui Maui fried in batter and placed on three small tacos and she enjoyed her lunch.I chose to have mine... More

We sat at the bar bartender was great, friendly, helpful, great cocktails. Started with guacamole and chips, salsa which was made table side and amazing.! We shared the corn & crab pancakes and the green chilaquiles. Both were great. Great atmosphere.

Upscale yet friendly restaurant in the heart of Old Town, Scottsdale, AZ. Best Margaritas and tacos. We ordered the pork shoulder which serves two. Large piece of fork tender glazed pork, chopped red onion, cilantro, Mexican cheese with handmade corn taco shells served on Himslayan Salt slab. Very nice presentation. Our sides were bean purée and sweet and regular fries.... More

The food was wonderful! Order the guacamole which is made at your table...delicious! The food was amazing and the service compared. The venue was warm and inviting, we had a great time all around. Strongly recommend you go when in town.

Old Town Scottsdale’s heart is beating to a Latin drum, now that The Mission has arrived and brightened the restaurant scene. Renowned Zinc Bistro Chef Matt Carter is now cooking up modern Latin cuisine blending influences from Spain, Mexico, Central America and South America. Home made Tortillas, Arepas, and Salsas are made fresh daily and all meats are prepared on a Plancha or a grill using pecan and mesquite wood that instills a rich flavor.
