Great meeting place. Don't miss the margaritas. Menu is diverse Southwestern fare. Classic setting in old town Scottsdale.

The restaurant is a little dark but that is the only complaint! The staff is very versed in the selections and answer all of questions with great knowledge. The food is served to perfection and great drink selection.

Such wonderful food here, and extensive choices in every category from wine, to tequila flights, to appetizer choices, to entrèes, to desserts. The table side guacamole is HIGHLY recommended; you choose your ingredients as they mix it it right there. The chips are so delicious.

This place is great - especially for Sunday brunch. Very hip atmosphere with a great bar & tequila selection! My only complaint is the lighting is a little on the dark side. They do have outdoor seating though front and back.

Me, my husband and three children (ages 15, 12 and 12) came here for dinner while vacationing in AZ. Not knowing anyone in the area, it's a crap shoot finding a nice place to eat. This place did not disappoint. It's serves food with "Latin" flare, not just Mexican. Jidori chicken wings were the best I've ever had. My husband... More

We were visiting Scottsdale and had tried other Mexican restaurants in the area and decided to try The Mission. My first impression was that is a beautiful environment, my second was the limited menu, mostly consisting of Taco's. I asked the sever about enchilada's, and with a very snooty attitude he informed me that we have nothing even close the... More

We came here for dinner based on some recommendations and the experience didn't disappoint. Overall the food was very good with some dishes (like the duck) being excellent and some just being good. I've read that some reviewers thought the portion sizes were small and the prices expensive but I found the experience to be in line with fine dinning... More

The food was fine and the drinks were fine but nothing blew my hair back. It was a bit overpriced but that is almost to be expected for that area of Scottsdale. It was a very pleasant environment and pleasing to the eye but not a place I would revisit.

This place was recommended by a friend. We tried many things on the menu and enjoyed them all. The table made Guacamole was excellent - but the stand out dish was the crispy Pork on the appetisers menu - we could have eaten that all night! Taco's were excellent also - we tried 4 different varieties ! We love it... More

This was a very busy place. We sat at the bar and had food and drinks. The food was very good, but I thought the drinks were a little expensive. It is a fun place to sit and watch all the different people coming and going.

Description
Old Town Scottsdale’s heart is beating to a Latin drum, now that The Mission has arrived and brightened the restaurant scene. Renowned Zinc Bistro Chef Matt Carter is now cooking up modern Latin cuisine blending influences from Spain, Mexico, Central America and South America. Home made Tortillas, Arepas, and Salsas are made fresh daily and all meats are prepared on a Plancha or a grill using pecan and mesquite wood that instills a rich flavor.
