I had been here in the past and was expecting a great steak, what I received was a flavorless steak. I tried and added salt and pepper, even steak sauce. I've had better steak at the Golden Corral. One of my sides was Ranch beans, there is nothing ranch about plain pinto beans. The best part was a baked potato.... More

Good restaurant for a special date. Good steaks, and wonderful jalapeño poppers wrapped in bacon....

safford's fancy steak house is a great place to go for a nice dinner but the service is a little slow and could use some improvement. i recommend eating upstairs in the bar as that is the best place to eat with friends.

When you order s steak you also get bread, soup-or-salad, vegetables, choice potato too an excellent value. I'm a bit biased as grew up on cattle ranch in ND....steak was good with smoky flavor. But would not be "one of the best steaks ever had". Bug also not saying bad. An excellent food / money value

The rustic ambiance was a welcomed change of pace. We arrived about an hour after opening , the building hadn't had time to cool off, temperature improved over the course of the meal. Steak was cooked nicely but a little under seasoned. Sides were standard choices and up to par nothing spectacular. Service was outstanding.

The place was packed we we arrived but we were greeted and served quickly. Not fancy but they cook the steaks over mesquite right in front of you, literally! Pretty good for a small town. If you come here, eat here if you love red meat!

Appetizers and steaks and bread superb! Salad bland for a steak house. Flies swarm if you sit by the window and dirty windowsill. Otherwise I would give five stars. Christy was incredibly good as a waitress in anticipating needs. She said she was new but showed years of experience in her customer service Nice dinner with my spouse

We ordered the fried pickles as an appetizer. DELICIOUS & HOT!! These are cut like french fries. Homemade ranch dressing is num! We ordered the 12 oz. ribeye steaks medium rare. Perfectly done & the mesquite flavor was amazing! Not over powering - just right! Had the baked potato (creamy) and the beans - very nicely flavored! We could not... More

The place was very quaint. My wife had a small sirloin that was almost to tough to eat. I had the small ribeye, and it had a good flavor, but was a bit stringy. Both came with salad and backed potato. Both were good. We ate about 5:30, and the staff was helpful, friendly and efficient.

Had happy hour special..excellent meal for money. Steak was excellent. Baked potato small but properly cooked. Slow service but friendly. Steaks cooked in dining room so very smoky. Clothes smelled like smoke several hours later. Avoid if have troubles breathing.
