Worst restaurant experience I've ever had. Deceptive advertising that happy hour is half off wine, but in tiny writing mixed in the description of the wine we had, it says not on discount. After receiving the bill with full priced wine, we were THEN told...some wines are not on the happy hour. My father asked to speak with a manager because happy hour is advertised as half off wine. The manager walked up with a defensive and rude attitude. When asked to talk to the owner, a man came over and proceeded to yell at my 80 year old father that he needed to read the menu and he was wrong. It was so shocking that it ruined our entire day. Food was just ok...we will NEVER go back! Many better options for food and customer service in the area.More

Tucked into this liquor-wine-cigar store is a deli that offers a nice variety of lunch selections. The wait for a table at lunch time was minimal, service was adequate and food tasty. Our sandwich prices were moderate to high ($15 & $17) and included service...fees for splitting them for 2. There were a few tables inside but more outdoors facing a parking lot.More

This was our 4th visit and it looked like more tables had been added. I enjoyed my rodeo burger and salad while my husband also liked his patty melt. The only critisism I had was that my salad was not chopped fine enough and it...was difficult to get the large pieces of spinach and lettuce onto the fork, let alone into my mouth. The other thing that concerned us both was seeing a horse walking around inside the store. While he was well behaved, one has to wonder how sanitary it is in a place where food is being served.More

PROS: There is shaded patio seating (albeit facing a parking lot) as well as indoor service. The food was varied and excellent with fast, efficient service from friendly waitstaff. This place sells food to go, eat in, deli, pizza AND is a liquor store. Carries...some Arizona wine and liquor, too. Generous parking and Covid protocol distancing is possible. CONS: noneMore

I have been coming to Park Plaza Deli for 4 or 5 years. Only in the past year have I noticed both service and food to be less than satisfactory when compared to previous years. Today a group of six went to dinner there and...they would not seat the four of us (the other two came 5 minutes later) despite the restaurant being virtually empty. Why? When our complete party did arrive the hostess disappeared for at least 5 minutes- nowhere to be found and nobody to seat us. Finally once seated the food order came out in shifts and they forgot items that were asked for when the order was made. I had a pastrami sandwich which looked like it was made yesterday. No garnish on the plate (a pickle on the side). The last time I came in we ordered a hamburger which was so bland I felt like McDonalds would have served a better meal. Really disappointed in this restaurant. It was really nice before the pandemic but something has happened since then. A new chef? New management? Anyone else notice this? Read some of the other reviews in the past few months. Please get your act together Park Plaza because as of now there are so many better restaurants in Prescott.More

Stopped for lunch on the deck. Service was slow and food average at best. Ruben sandwich was ok but bread soggy and corned beef lacked seasoning. Fries were cold and replacement ones arrived after meal was basically over. My wife had an ok chicken selection...but again not great flavor We won't be back. BObKMore

How hard is it to make a tuna melt?!?! Soggy, cold, unmelted cheese. Third time we’ve tried to order this item and it’s always the same lousy sandwich. Terrible.

Pros: - Good menu for carryout - Packaged beer/liquor/wine available - Plenty of employees working - Easy parking Cons: - Don't expect to get what you ordered for carryout - Beer selection is highly disorganized - High prices Was visiting Prescott and decided to order...carryout from Park Plaza Liquor and Deli based on their menu and that I was looking to purchase some champagne. Ordered several items for carryout including a Buffalo Blue Wedge salad. Realized before leaving that I wasn't given any of my included dressings or dips and had to go back to ask for them which really seemed to annoy the employees. After getting to my hotel room I opened my salad and found that it had no chicken meaning that I paid almost $13 for some iceberg lettuce and salad toppings. Good concept of combining a beer/liquor/wine store with an American food restaurant but this place is poorly run.More

I definitely do NOT recommend the cigar side and because I was insulted by Vito, their AWESOME food and liquor side will not be on my list of places to frequent. I drove 35 minutes their to pick up some high end cigars for myself...and brother in law for Thanksgiving. They have a sign that says not to take their cigars out of the wrappers which I did not do. I did smell three of the cigars I was about to purchase. Vito must have been watching me on a monitor. Walked in on me and had an issue with me smelling the cigars I was about to buy. He mumbled something about "covid". The irony of the whole situation is that these cigars have been handled by the actual rollers, and various other people from the point of origin and even by people that work their that put price tags on every one of them. The funniest part of the whole thing is that he said, "It's all tobacco and it all smells the same." LOL, never thought I would hear a HEAD Tobacconist say something so blatantly false.More

But that's because it's so good! Went with a group, and everyone's food looked good. As others say, you can pick a beer or cider from the large selection in the cooler and have it with your meal. The hostess was not friendly, but our...waiter was very good.More

The food is good, but what is great is that you select a beer from the cooler (and there are a LOT of them), and take it to your table. They charge $1.50 to open it, but a really good beer is $2.00 = $1.50...to open it = $3.50. Good by me. They have a happy hour but we weren't there at that time.More

I am writing after the last four visits, basically giving them chances. We have lived in Prescott since 2011 off and on due to my work, but this is where we call home. Park Plaza has gone down hill. the food is inconsistent, mostly average....Service is some of the worst in town, and the management are Rude, and it trickles down. My wife has her own business on Whiskey row and gets asked often for recommendations. PPLD has always been on her list, and mine, but not anymore. Enough is enough. We will not be supporting their business any longer. We drive to Grand Canyons Spirits in flag for Liqueur and other restaurants in town. I would drive to Cottonwood before going back to Park Plaza.More

Very good place to eat. Huge selection of beer to drink at your table or to go. Spend time browsing all the varieties of beer and liquor.

Can't recommend eating here. Food was pretty tasteless. However, the selection of beer and wine is outstanding. This is as close as you get to a Bev-Mo store in the Quad Cities area. Glad it's here in Prescott.
