THAT Brewery doesn’t look super special on the outside but it is great on the inside. Great barbecue food! Big list of brews. Wonderful cherry cobbler. Seek out Reba! What an awesome waitress. We will definitely return here.

My wife and I love craft brews and That Brewery didn’t disappoint. The beer and appetizer was excellent, and our waitress was the best. I didn’t catch her name but she’s a huge asset to the business.
Great location and great food. We loved the pet friendly patio that had tons of heating so it was perfect. Wait staff was super friendly and very efficient.
I guess most places are on the side of the road but I mean this is the first place after a lot of woodsy environment. South end of Pine. The server was friendly and the food was great, the beer too. Brand new spacious covered...patio was very nice. Dog friendly.More
Nice setting in the pines with a brand new covered patio. Good beer selection. Taco Tuesday so had smoked brisket tacos. Three delicious but small tacos. Southwestern burger was big and very good. They close early so go for happy hour.
We had no clue where to eat after our day hiking Tonto Natural Bridge cavern but the ladies there said to make a left coming out and head to Pine! The first place we saw, we stopped, and thankfully the food, service, brews and scenery...were amazing! Candy was our server and she was super friendly and happy to chat with us about the area. We ordered fried pickle spears for appetizer and went with some local craft beers. There were 4 of us in our party and everyone enjoyed their meals. Tacos, burgers, and the Arizona dip were all so good! The scenery is beautiful, I can’t recommend this spot enough!More
A huge disappointment. After researching eateries in the area and perusing the menu, we were sure we had chosen a great place for a delicious burger. I ordered a cheeseburger and hubs ordered the southwest burger. The burgers were small, overcooked, very, very skimpy on...the cheese, and served in huge, oversized buns. The fries were forgettable. Hubs paid extra for the truffle fries: don’t bother! They were indistinguishable from the regular fries and neither iteration was good. We were there to eat and did not sample the beer menu, so I can’t comment on that. We cannot recommend the burgers and will not return.More
I enjoyed a Dirty Verde, the wife, a house made kombucha, while our kids played vertical tic-tac-toe in a pleasant, shaded outside seating area, surrounded by pines with a light breeze. The wife and I split a SW Burger, I took fries, she took the...coleslaw and we both enjoyed our choices immensely. The service staff worked like a family and were always available, anticipating our wants and needs.More
The food is good to really tasty. The beer runs between mediocre and bad. The IPAs probably cover up the poor brew technic. The other brews it's noticeable. I've tried the beer in the Valley (x2), at the Buffalo (x2), and at the brewery. Disappointing...every time.More
Very laid back place with great staff working hard to take care of everyone. We sat outside and enjoyed the cool breeze and watching kids play and dogs meet and greet. Get the pretzel appetizer and be sure to try both the beer cheese and...beer mustard, hard to pick which was best! My husband had the ribs and brisket with a side smashed potatoes, very good. I had an Arizona Dip that was on grilled Texas toast, I could only eat half and a few fries! The rest will be my lunch tomorrow! We split a cherry cobbler with ice cream, yummy. We will definitely be back.More
We drove through on a Saturday and this place was super busy. There's a lot of social distancing. They were overwhelmed with a long wait. We enjoyed the pretzels, elk chili and the Monsoon Mud Stout.
Came back several years later, during Covid-19. We arrived at 2 PM on a Saturday and there was a 20 min wait. Part of that was due to the tables being spread out. I was surprised that the only other person wearing a mask was...the hostess. Not the servers, bartenders nor the guests (of course). We decided to get it to-go. My wife got a cheeseburger and fries whilst I got the 2-meat BBQ, plus coleslaw. I chose brisket and ribs. We were promised 20 mins. Service was cautiously comfortable, if a tad slow. Our meal arrived in 30 mins. The burger and fries were very standard but the burger was a bit on the large side. I didn’t taste it but my wife said: “Good”. The fries were very good (I did steal some of those). The brisket was tender, not much of a smoke ring but seasoned well. My ribs were outstanding. The rub really did it. It was herby and zesty, but not hot. The sauce wasn’t overbearing, just caramelized over the rub. They also included a small tub of sauce on the side. The coleslaw was okay, nothing to write home about. All told, it came to $44.More
We stopped by here during the COVID19 pandemic, but were allowed to eat outside on the patio with our small dog. The lady that greated us was super nice and had all the rules down on serving us. I seen the servers cleaning and sanitizing...tables as customers left. We shared a BBQ plate of ribs, brisket and chicken along with pickled vegetables. All were very good. Lots of shade on the patio and I would return. The had portable toilets outside for customers use and it was the cleanest porta potty I ever used. Very nice of them to add, since the restaurant inside was not opened.More
Visited THAT Brewery on a recent trip to the Strawberry/Pine area. We were so glad to see that they were open for takeout as restaurants are not open for seating at this time. We picked up a couple of the specials of the day -...Jamaican Pulled Chicken Sandwiches and a growler of Road Rash IPA - and took a drive up Hardscrabble Road for a view of the area and found a perfect picnic spot. The food was delicious! The beer was excellent too! The service was excellent -- very polite and cheerful. Besides growlers, we saw that they also have 6packs to go which is great because it looks like there is only one market in town. The atmosphere seems so fun, unfortunately right now because of Covid-19 we were not able to stay. We definitely plan to go back when this is all over though.More
