Ticoz is a trendy-ish restaurant/bar (hence "resto-bar"; one half is a bar/lounge while the other half is a conventional dining room) on 7th Street just north of Camelback. Like several of the bars and restaurants in this area, it's popular with the LGBT community though it's certainly straight-friendly. We went for Taco Tuesday at happy hour. Unlike many other "happy... More

A friend had a fundraiser where Ticoz was giving a percentage to the cause. This is not the first time we have dined here. The food was good, calamari was OK, but the entrees were much better. Yes, it's a little dark and they need new seats and furniture, but go anyway!

This place is a big bump above the typical Mexican restaurant, and has a nice ambiance too. Even though the restaurant was crowded, it was not too noisy for talking. That's a plus in my book. All of the dishes looked so appetizing, and I know that my meal was quite good. The spicing was done well, and not too... More

We had the monster quesadilla, the daily special- salmon with pineapple sauce, and the pork chile verde mac & cheese. They were all good. The restaurant is on the dark side. The service was good. Good parking.

This is just another in a long list of typical Mexican restaurants. Enchiladas, tacos, nachos, etc. It's ok but nothing out of the ordinary. The prices are good and so is the service. The restaurant is a bit dark and dreary at lunch time but one would call it " atmospheric" for dinner.

The blue corn enchiladas alone are enough to give this restaurant and bar an excellent rating. Throw in a comfortable vibe, eclectic atmosphere, great mojitos, and plenty of other tasty food options and this is a great location for date night, special occasions or just a seat at the bar.

The best food and wait staff. The blue corn enchiladas and chili verde enchiladas (with a fried egg on top) are incredible - we served them at our wedding reception on the patio at Ticoz.

We seem to visit Ticoz every Restaurant Week or special charity event and keep wondering why we don't dine here more regularly. The appetizers are particular standouts - with a deliciously different lettuce wrap with a hint of sweetness with dried fruit and almost a trail mix sensibility! Also had absolutely perfect calamari with an amazing and unique jalapeno/lime dipping... More
