The food is great. The proportions are above and beyond. The price point is on-point. But otherwise the staff seem a little overwhelmed, especially the guy that seats people. I know the wait is long, and trust me, it’s worth the wait. However, today, when...I asked if I could get a cup of coffee while I waited, everyone looked at me with a blank stare. At first, I was asked to ask someone else, and that person referred me to someone else, and the final decision was to charge me for a to-go cup of coffee (even though it was obvious I in line to eat there). Then all of a sudden a guy named “Nick” brought me what I was asking for. If you’re addicted to coffee, like I am, you will understand why Nick is my hero. I want to give Nick a shoutout. Thank you buddy.More

They don’t own a freezer they say! It’s evident. We got lucky and arrived on a Tuesday which is biscuits and gravy day!! It came with eggs any way and potatoes that were wonderful. Huge portions. We split and added the pepper bacon. Walked out...full with a nice peppery taste in our mouths. The staff was excellent. All friendly and equally helpful. The location has parking in the back and was a nice comfortable inside seating. This area is in the art district which looks like a neat place to go walk off calories weather permitting.More

We went to the Gilbert location. We sat after about a 20 minute wait, not long really. The server came right over and at first was great. After we placed our order however the food took about 40-45 minutes to actually come out. A server...(not ours) came over and asked what we ordered so he could check on it but then never came back to let us know the status. Once our food finally arrived we were short one order, the waitress never put the order in. She did not come back to our table to tell us but sent another person who looked like a table busser to be honest. Finally a manager did come over and put in the order for our missing food and they did comp that order and another one at the table. The original waitress never came to apologize for the confusion or mentioned it when she brought our check! So while the food was good the service left a lot to be disired!More

We went to Matt’s with a large party of six and had to wait about one hour for a table on a Saturday morning. However, the staff was really friendly and attentive and the food was delicious. We got a wide variety of dishes, and...everyone was really happy with their meals. I got the skinny and it was so yummy, my son got the bacon and eggs. The bacon was thick and had great flavor. My husband got pancakes that were so light and fluffy. I highly recommend this place. My mother in law loved her Cobb salad. Everything was great.More

This little breakfast place in downtown Phoenix is great for a quick big breakfast. Try the specials, the pork is so tender.

11/2/22 I came here on a Wednesday morning after arriving to phoenix. Upon arrival we were greeted and seated momentarily. My boyfriend ordered the chop and chick, I ordered the hog and chick with ham, and his mom got the smashed avocado toast with a...poached egg. We all ordered coffee and it was phenomenal, we’ve all had 3 cups each. The only slight complaints would be; the avocado toast seems to skimp out on the amount of avocado you get. The other two entrees were great wholesome American country style meals, but they weren’t too flavorful. I personally, doused my food in hot sauce. But other than that, the food was good. I was glad to have seen this is one of the restaurants’ Guy Fieri choose to visit and give his approval. I would come back here again and try other options.More

Service was nice and the restaurant was clean. However it was probably the worst waffle breakfast we have had in our entire life. I realize people are in a rush because of flying but I would not recommend for breakfast due to food quality. Everything...else was fine.More

We stumbled onto this place after the first place we went to had a 5 hour wait. The host told us it would be 25 mins. We decided to wait. We were seated in 5 mins. Food was amazing. We also had fresh squeezed OJ-...yum! Service was good and prices were reasonable. Would definitely go back.More

We stopped in on a quiet Tuesday morning around 8 and it wasn’t too busy. We were told to sit anywhere we liked. The modest menu has all the basics and more. My wife enjoyed the thick cut avocado toast with a poached egg while...I savored the malted waffles with thick cut peppered bacon. Both entrees were around $10 each. Another bonus was the fresh squeezed OJ (squeezed on site from the looks of it)-super fresh with just the right amount of sweetness. The flimsy metal chairs and polished concrete floor made it a touch noisy but with so few people, wasn’t much of an issue. Service was friendly and efficient. RecommendMore

Good for breakfast if you have time, usually a busy place though. They took awhile to get to everyone but considering the breakfast rush it isn't the worst service ever.
