We are long time customers here, but the service was terrible and the food was marginal at best; maybe it was an off night but that does not explain the service. Felt like persona non grata.

We have never been disappointed in a meal here. They do the standards very well, and the creative dishes are always delicious. It's not cheap, but you won't feel like you overpaid. Occasionally we've had to wait a few minutes for a table, even on weeknights, but we're heading there again tonight, and we know we won't be disappointed. The... More

Menus for dinner overwhelming at first glance especially if you have come for your favorite sushi roll or favorite fish. But waitress did fabulous job pointing out special options we also sat at sushi bar small but with chef Yasu explaining the freshness of the specials and preparation. This is a place to enjoy different and freshest dishes we have... More

It was decent food; green beans and soft crab skewers were pretty good but we were charged for things like water. I would assume we would have been told about charging for water.

By far the best sushi in north east Phoenix. Although the menus, between four or five different ones, may seem overwhelming they are actually only a single page each. About the same as the the multi page menus at most restaurants. But you should ignore the menus and order the specials or what your server recommends. You will rarely be... More

Excellent ambience, not too large, with excellent service, and food that was unique and equally delicious. Prepared by a true artisan. Great drinks. Price of fair for the service and quality.

We have been coming to this place for a while now and Chef Yasu continues to wow us with his creativity. I recommend omakase dining experience where Chef Yasu takes your taste buds on a journey. This is truly a unique experience here in the Valley.

We absolutely love this place. Food is amazing, especially all the different sauces that come with the dishes. Service was great. Lizette is great. But it is very cold in this restaurant. Cold air blowing on me even if said it twice. Bring a jacket.

Best Japanese food in Phoenix As recommended by the waiter I ordered a Japanese premium whiskey which when delivered had only 1/2 inch whiskey The waiter explained that was all there was and added that I should, nevertheless try it. Without liquor the average cost of our meal was $60.00 per person. We ordered many dishes to share. With the exception... More

We had trouble ordering dishes to share so waiter did it for us. One at a time 18 dishes were presented to us, first light then hearty. Imaginative presentations, unusual variety, all delicious. Expensive but within limits we'd set. A truly memorable meal.
