I love Caffe Sarajevo. The owner, Seida, is a delight, always welcoming. The menu is not extensive, but everything I've had on it is delicious. The bosanski lonac, a soup that is more like a stew, is one of my favorite dishes on the planet. The pileci, chicken, cheese and mushrooms in homemade bread, is fabulous. The cheese pita, or... First off, this is my first time having Bosnia food. My wife is Greek and we thought it might be similar. It is not, but SURPRISE! It was still excellent! A Chicken sandwich my sound boring, but I have to say it is not when it is served Bosnian style. Hugh piece of white meat chicken, flattened out like a... More

Great lepinje (freshly made, soft bread) and ćevapi (small grilled beef patties in the shape, not flavor, of sausages) . We used to live in Phoenix and this place is a MUST every time we visit.

We stopped here today with a group of friends, our first visit and selected because this restaurant was featured on “Check Please, Arizona” TV program. When we walked through the door the aroma of freshly baked bread made us hungry. The menu was one page, which I prefer because that meant the food was fresh and quickly prepared. They did... More

The menu was short (which I like). Some traditional dishes reasonably prepared. The wait staff was sincere, but somewhat taxed by a moderate number of customers. Quite dirty and a bit run down. An interesting lunch, but I would not like to go back soon.

This place was remodeled recently, upgraded from a hole-in-the-wall place in a creepy part of town, flanked on one end by a cigarette store and on the other by a liquor shop (now replaced by a Thai Asian market). The entrance to this business transforms your imagination completely, and stuns you with its wonderful ambiance and cleanliness. There is a... More

Had seen a review on "Check Please, Arizona" and knew we needed to visit this restaurant. We stopped one evening after work and glad we did. The restaurant is located in a strip mall and doesn't look much from the outside. Don't let the looks deceive you! I had the Cevapi, which is a Bosnian sausage sandwich and my husband... More

Visited this little cafe about 2:00 pm for lunch. It is truly amazing. Outside it looks like a tacky storefront. Open the door and it is like stepping into a village on the Dalmatian coast. So cute, clean, and pleasant. We had no idea what to order. The waitress made suggestions. Superb! We had the cevapi sausage sandwich, Earl soup,... More

When you walk into the restaurant it looks like a little foreign village with shop fronts sort of like Disney Land and many people were speaking in a foreign tongue. Most of the menu is meat with bread and soups. I had the chicken sandwich. The chicken was pounded thin and was flavorful and juicy. The house made bread was... More

Nice small place that does look like the culture is being represented. The food is pretty good here. I had the Bosnian sausage and coffee. The woman looking over the place was very friendly and was on top of the few customers that there was at the time. My meal was basically nine dollars and that was pretty cheap for... More
