Natalie, my 6+ year granddaughter, & I ate Sunday lunch at this Garcia's at 46th & Thomas. Natalie had a plain bean & cheese burrito with a slice of orange over lettuce and a packet of Goldfish cheesies + water. I had a cup of...Chicken Tortilla soup & the Avocado Chicken Salad with tomatoes & cheese and a raspberry vinagriette dressing over a bed or greens in a huge tortilla bowl. We had chips with a bean dip & a red salsa at the beginning before the food came. The food was good and I had leftovers to take with us which is great. After I asked for no cheese on my salad, the chicken tortilla soup arrived with a chunk of finely grated cheese on the top. Since I try to avoid dairy, I forgot to ask for the soup without added cheese. The food was very tasty, not too spicy but good flavor.More
We had supper at Garcia’s early on a Friday evening and were seated immediately. It was much busier when we left but there was still seating. The main room, housing a bar was very lively. My sister found her fajita excellent. While my chimichanga was...good, I’ve had better. We found the decor very nice and had no trouble parking.More
I was pleasantly surprised to find chips and dip included with my takeout order. The aluminum tray keeps food from getting mushed. Hostess was friendly and offered me water. Food was excellent and tea hit the spot. I recommend and plan to return.
I was very disappointed in this restaurant because I was anticipating super flavored Mexican food. To start the evening, we ordered margaritas. I didn't think there was very much tequila in the frozen drink at all - more simple syrup, I think. Anyway, when the...food came, there was no "a-ha" moment.More
We stopped in on a quiet Monday night for some authentic Mexican. We were very pleased with our meals and portions. All the ingredients in our dishes were fresh and well prepared. The server was attentive to us and made sure our needs were taken...care of. Worth another visitMore
Pretty good authentic Mexican restaurant.
We had the Chimichanga and the Flautas. Both were very good.
The chips and salsa were free – always a nice touch. The bean dip was a bit spicy, though.
The veggies were very tasty.
Our server was very knowledgeable,...friendly and prompt. No complaints.
The restaurant and bathrooms were very clean.More
