This is a really quaint place. Wonderful tasting menu and perfect for a romantic dinner. Organic locally grown food made by a chef that is passionate about food!

Walk or drive through the Farm - under a canopy of bare light bulbs and up the walk to Quiessence. Get a table near the fireplace. order wine. Enjoy the delicious cuisine. Really awesome place

To start with, we asked about the outdoor seating and were told that they could not accommodate us as they were hosting another event. (the entire outdoor area was empty and we were very willing to sit in the fireplace area) so that was well,...More

From the minute I made a reservation Quiessence impressed me. They called to confirm and ask if there were any special occasion being celebrated, allergies to be aware of, first timer and if we were visiting. The staff was so friendly and extremely knowledgeable. All...More

Quintessence is the fine dining part of The Farm at South Mountain. This is not a dine and dash place. We chose to order a la carte, and all the dishes were wonderful. Our waitress described what we were eating and mentioned the local farms...More

The setting of this restaurant is quite unusual for the Phoenix area; a farm near the base of South Mountain. After driving south on 32nd Street, one turns into what starts to appear as park/picnic grounds. Continuing to the rear of the property, over several...More

The flavors of Arizona terroir will shine through our dishes prepared with a contemporary spin on traditional and classic culinary techniques. Sourcing from the surrounding fields and local farms, Quiessence will utilize ingredients from the neighborhood. The chef only has to walk down the street to admire Vineyard Road lambs which will be prepared in a variety of ways. In addition to the produce Maya grows at The Farm, our sister restaurant The House will also be providing vegetables and herbs from their Secret Garden. The chef and his team will create a truly unique "garden to table" experience. The local ingredients allow us to enhance the natural flavors without complicating the dishes. Don't be surprised if your server asks you to take a walk through the garden to cut herbs or edible flowers for one of your upcoming courses. Quiessence will offer an A la Cart Menu, a Family Feast Tasting Menu and our signature Brick Oven experience. The refined rustic menu will include house made breads, fromage, handcrafted pastas and local produce from The Farm at South Mountain and other Valley farms. The American and Arizonan wine list will be accompanied by an international reserve list designed to pair with the balance of the cuisine. With that in mind the team will still prioritize all Arizona Regional Products which includes our Arizona Wine Country.
