Everything about the retreat in the city is perfect. Perfect peaceful setting surrounded by a heritage pecan tree lined entry. The patios under the moonlight. The 5-course meal of local sourced foods many right from The Farm. While pricey, indeed the treat for a special...More

I had the great pleasure of dining at Quiessence at the Farm. The area is just beautiful. There are 2 other restaurants on the property, along with a farm where a lot of what is served has been grown here. A true farm to table...More

This was a wonderful birthday experience. My birthday falls just after Valentine's Day, so they were still serving the 4 course fixed Valentine's menu which was perfect for us, but some other diners seemed surprised by this. We started with a couple delicious and unique...More

This small restaurant is set in the country and seeks to use farm fresh food in the servings. It offers a romantic setting which requires reservations in advance. We went here mid-week when we could use the a-la-carte menu, otherwise the offerings are 5 &...More

Nice dine out on the day before new year's eve. We both loved the pistachio soup and dessert, but quite disappointed with the winter salad (radish was hard, combination of vegetables were just not quite right), steak was quite chewy (understand America doesn't have good...More

My husband and I have eaten here several times over the years on various holidays and always loved it - wonderful food, great atmosphere and service. This New Year's was a completely different experience. The food was phenomenal as always, but when it came to...More

This used to be my favorite restaurant but no more. New Year’s Eve was terrible. Reservation 5:45 and at 9:30 still waiting on dessert. The waitress was horribly rude and said it was being plated. Well 50 minutes later we left with no dessert. The...More

Very nice setting in the farmhouse/garden, with very good food. Server was very nice and took really good care of us. The only thing for us was time limitation about an hour and a half. And the server knew about it but main dishes still...More

Description
The flavors of Arizona terroir will shine through our dishes prepared with a contemporary spin on traditional and classic culinary techniques. Sourcing from the surrounding fields and local farms, Quiessence will utilize ingredients from the neighborhood. The chef only has to walk down the street to admire Vineyard Road lambs which will be prepared in a variety of ways. In addition to the produce Maya grows at The Farm, our sister restaurant The House will also be providing vegetables and herbs from their Secret Garden. The chef and his team will create a truly unique "garden to table" experience. The local ingredients allow us to enhance the natural flavors without complicating the dishes. Don't be surprised if your server asks you to take a walk through the garden to cut herbs or edible flowers for one of your upcoming courses. Quiessence will offer an A la Cart Menu, a Family Feast Tasting Menu and our signature Brick Oven experience. The refined rustic menu will include house made breads, fromage, handcrafted pastas and local produce from The Farm at South Mountain and other Valley farms. The American and Arizonan wine list will be accompanied by an international reserve list designed to pair with the balance of the cuisine. With that in mind the team will still prioritize all Arizona Regional Products which includes our Arizona Wine Country.
