I like to go to the Honey Bears at 5012 E East Van Buren in Phoenix. You get plenty to eat and I've never been disappointed. Always very tender and tasty With plenty of sides to choose from.

*Food was good-meat was good on the slider, bottom bun soaking wet *Portion size very good *Staff not too friendly but by no means rude *Price a little too high *So flipping hot in there it was not pleasant :( We weren't so disappointed that we walked out angry or anything but it was oppressively hot in there.

We ordered 2 pulled pork sandwiches at 10.49 each. The pork was tough, dry and the bottom bun was very soggy. We also ordered 2 mac and cheese and it had no flavor and the noodles were mushy. The most disappointing was the peach cobbler, it was just cooked canned peaches and NO crust...that's the best part. We ended up... More

Good portions, average price, but quality was a bit underwhelming. My colleagues, however, loved this place and wanted to return. Adequate option for the are, but I'd look further next time.

This place is near legendary in Phoenix though I'm not quite sure why. The BBQ is unremarkable and the ingredients are base; the mac-and-cheese is particularly ordinary. The ambiance is dated and run-down (albeit clean). This is a self-serve place and the counter-attendances are cordial enough, I suppose. Bottom-line: 2.5 stars - there are better BBQ spots in the city... More

If you are looking for ribs you need only go to Honey Bears BBQ. You can select from a menu but know that you have to have the ribs.

I don't like pork so I like that this place has good BBQ pulled chicken sandwiches. Also, their fries are great. But make sure if you want fries you go to the one on Central because I'm not sure if all their locations have them. Nice people and friendly service. I'll be back.

We ordered the ribs and did not like them very much because we like a dry bbq and theirs came covered in sauce and we too fatty for our tastes. The fries and Mac n' cheese were not so good either. We left about half of what we ordered. The service and staff were very nice.

From the beautiful Country style look of the building, to the delicious sound of "Honey Bears Barbecue" I was really excited about dining there, at first. Yet, the moment I walked into a Slow, Sloppy & Rude customer service, that excitement died. Prices were ridiculous, took over 30minutes to get mine &my boyfriends food which was only (2 bbq pulled...
