The seating if one decides to stay is in a covered patio style building with basic picnic style seating. Despite the summer heat at 105 degrees just after noon, there were about half a dozen diners seated and chowing down. Dedicated customers who love the...food!
i decided to pick up some food to take home, knowing 25 minutes of travel time with the food in the trunk would result in piping hot food. And, it was.
Their enchiladas are very tasty, full of cheese, lightly sauced, covered with melted cheese, shredded lettuce and cut up tomato. A huge portion of nicely flavored beans and a more normal portion of rice came with. While the sauce had a slight bit of heat to it, it never really went anywhere near on the heat scale, perhaps a 2 on the 10 scale.
i also got 3 tacos to really get a taste of the family recipes: a ground beef with hard shell (best of the 3), machaca ( very good flavor) in hard shell and carne asada (lots of meat with cilantro and onion) in soft shell. All 3 tacos were very tasty, and had plenty of ingredients. Really got my money's worth and enjoyed everything.
Will likely revisit when temps return to decent after October cool returns. These are very good recipes. If You like Mexican food, You will not be disappointed with their food. Total came to just under $15.More
