We had a Chimichanga and a Chile relleno, they were really good. However they cook a soup for lunch and they runned out of it and we didn't have a replacement item. They charged the full price although we were at lunch?

Took family to eat here that are from Minnesota. They wanted good authentic Mexican food. This restaurant is family friendly, affordable, authentic and has great food! Many food choices to pick from and service is always good. They take no reservations so be prepared to wait 30-50 minutes to be seated...it's worth the wait.

We were not very impressed with our experience here, especially after reading such great reviews about the establishment. The building itself was beautiful, clean, and had a nice feel to it. We had a short wait for our table, especially given that it was a Friday night. Our frustration started when we watched our waitress address the 3 tables surrounding... More

We were in the area and Trip Advisor rating caught our eye. Drove over to find the parking lot packed with cars and quite a few people waiting outside under the canopy. Ran in quickly to see how long of a wait: 45 minutes. Normally we would have gone somewhere else but we waited ... it was well worth the... More

Recommended to this hidden gem by our Hertz rental agent. She told us the green chicken enchilada was the best ever. She was right, amazing!! Our server Gerson was super fast, very polite and checked back with us about 5 times to make sure we were happy. It's not fancy but the food is yummy and huge portions!!

This is definitely a locals place. The service is outstanding and the food is hot and plentiful. It's traditional mexican food. I would definitely go back to try more menu items.

Very good authentic Mexican food. Fantastic chilli rellenos!! Simple but comfortable. Very friendly wait staff. Very reasonable. Definitely stop here if you want great Mexican food without frills. Don't let the neighborhood bother you. It's fine.

Ambiance is so-so; not a place I'd take someone if I was trying to impress them with either authentic or upscale. More like a diner with a bit of Mexican decoration. The menu is multiple pages of widely spaced options, but is not extensive: mostly various combinations of Mexican staples - tacos, enchiladas, burritos, tostadas, etc made with the various... More

We arrived about 12:30 on Friday. The hostess said we would have a 25 minute wait. The wait was 15 minutes. After we were seated or service was very fast and very good. Our waiter spoke little English but he was lots of fun and did a great job. Great selection with lots of lunch specials under $10. The tacos... More

In Phoenix on business and my cab driver recommended this restaurant. He related that there are long lines, long waits and no reservations. I got there on a Friday at 1125 AM and there was a 20 minute wait. The restaurant is not that large and they do a big take out business. So, the regulate the diner numbers so... More
