Worth a try

Located in a quirky strip mall they offer Chinese/Mexican fusion food. Thought the food was very good and so did the throngs of locals who were eating there. Hope they recycle all that aluminum though.

Well I went there at lunch with friends who LOVE this place. I got a bowl with her chicken it was very spicy and teriyaki chicken thinly sliced with sauce and the fried jerk chicken rice. The food was not great or good. It was just ok. The teriyaki sauce was really good on the teriyaki chicken. The jerk chicken... More

Decided to make a visit after seeing the review on Diners, Drive-ins, and Dives from s verbal months back. Good flavors and the combination of carnitas and fried-rice was nice. Expected a little more rice, however the food is good comfort Chinese/Mexican combo.

We were puzzled about the selection and ordering but the counter staff stepped in to explain and sort it all out. Great selection on the menue so it is impossible to try everything in one or two visits. Our large group really enjoyed the Emerald Chicken along with the refried beans. Every dish was delivered hot. Just relax and go... More

No frills no spill, what you see is what you get. Did late lunch , quite fun once you Worked out how to order(fill in a card) Food choices varied between Chinese, Mexican and a bit of Jamaica. All came in a to go bowl, no frills but fun. Would go again excellent value.

Went after golf at cave Creek golf course. Had Chinese egg foo young with fried rice. Very tasty. Locals were taking lots of food out after work crowd. Beer and wine. Order at counter but big area to eat there. Will go again. Right off the 17. Greenway exit.

My wife first saw this restaurant on the Food Network back in 2008. She lived in Florida at the time, so was obviously unable to go. I grew up in Phoenix and had never heard of this place. We finally made it here this December. You order by filling out a form and giving it to the cashier. The highlights... More

My son and I hit Chino Bandido during our Fiesta Bowl trip. Took us a minute to figure out how to order, but with the help of a very friendly server...we knocked it out of the park, just like the food. Super cool vibe with great Chinese / Mexican food. We loved it. Highly recommend.

Truly one of kind place that does an amazing blend of Chinese, Mexican and Jamaican food! A staple for our family for nearly 20years, this is the place I take every friend and family member that visit us. Their unique menu and the way of ordering makes the place even more interesting. I love their Jerk chicken, Pollo Diablo and... More

We decided to eat at Chino Bandido after seeing it featured on DDD, and we were extremely disappointed. The restaurant itself can only be described as bleak, and so we decided to get take-out rather than eat there. The best thing about the restaurant was the staff, who were so helpful and charming. The food itself was less than average.... More
