This pizza place is located on an historic street that is just a short two block walk from the Diamondbacks baseball statium. The city designated this street of 1945 built homes, one of which belonged to my great aunt and uncle, as an historic landmark....More

Very very good food! We have been many times and we love it. Their hand made pasta is great as well s there sauce. The pizza had a great flavor as it is made almost in front of you.

We decided to try something outside of our norm and stumble across this place. The restaurant is easy to find, spacious and clean. Staff were polite and prompt. Pizza was pretty good, had a nice thin crust. Prices were fair.

We walked to Pomo after a Diamondback game....about a 15 minute walk. It was very crowded, so we grabbed the last two seats at their small bar area. My wife and I split a pizza which arrived quickly, especially considering how busy it was. This...More

My daughter and I eat here frequently. The pizzas are amazing. The crusts are delicate, and lightly charred, with top quality ingredients for toppings. The pasta is also amazing. The deserts are to die for! Service is impeccable, and the restaurant is lovely.

Description
Pomo Pizzeria Napoletana creates the truly authentic pizza experience utilizing the same simple methods that were practiced for hundreds of years in Napoli, Italy where pizza was born and perfected. Pomo's Pizza is produced according to the Neapolitan tradition where each pizza is a unique piece of art. We combine the slow levitation method to produce our homemade dough, all natural ingredients, and the Blast-Cooking process for 60–90 seconds at 905°C on our wood burning oven imported from Italy to lock in flavors, natural aroma and moisture. This gives the pizza a soft and digestible crust, which is the signature style of a true Napoletana Pizza. Our pizza is made from slow-rising sourdough with a minimum of 24 hours in the rising process. We are proud to be the First - "AVPN" Associazione Verace Pizza Napoletana certified Restaurant in Arizona. We take Neapolitan pizza seriously and you will be able to tell with every taste.
