Pizza and beer...whose idea was that? I'll tell ya who. God's !!! Fatso's must be tight with the big guy, because they are doing em both right. Now your always gonna have your pizza snobs (insert annoying East coast accent here).Dat aint pizza dey cut...it in squares! Or -who puts pineapple and jollypeenoes on a pizza? To them I say-"shut your pie hole". Fatso's does cut their pizza in squares ( more for everyone) and they have the best Hawaiian pizza in town ( Jalapeños just make it better) but if you ask they will cut it in triangles ya baby. All I know is no matter how you slice it Fatties makes a damn good pie. My personal favorite is the "Great White"- It's a white pizza (no sauce) with enough fresh crushed garlic on it to keep you vampire proof until dawn. I get mine on a whole wheat crust and add thin sliced tomatoes. MMMM!! And what would the Almighty want us to wash this wonderment down with...Beer wonderful beer. Fatso's boasts over 20 taps of the liquid gold. Do you like IPAs? Came to the right place! With usually 6-8 selections of the good stuff. Beers like Bell's 2 hearted (current #1 on beer rater),Modern Times, Belching Beaver and an occasional visit from stalwarts like Alpine and Greenflash and some local AZ breweries. They even have there own custom beer made by Lumberyard brewing called Redeye. A tasty blend of Lumberyard Red Ale and IPA...Redeye...get it? And it's only....wait for it $4.00 everyday all day. Best craft in town for that price. Fatso's bakes all there appies too. No fryer. Best non- greasiest wings ever. (insert dopey accent here again)-Whud's wrong wit grease. Too easy! Soooo WWJD?- He'd beat feet over to Fatso's. Oh yeah live music Th-Fri-Sat p.m. See ya thereMore
Everybody wants to go to a place where everybody knows your name, but what makes a place like that special is the menu that keeps you coming back. And that all is the definition of Fatso's. With its neighborhood ambience ~ friendly servers; indoor booths...and a bar sensibly separated from the family dining area; and early evening live music ~ Fatso's delivers a solid and savory menu. But, our money's been on the pizza, particularly the thin crust Killer, loaded with mozzarella, cheddar, sausage, pepperoni, green pepper, and onions. All the necessary nutrients! Add a crispy side salad and a pitcher of your favorite brew, and you're in Italian heaven!More
We went to listen to Hans Olson sing that night. And we ended up meeting some amazing people, the owners and their family run a great establishment. The pizza was cooked to perfection.! The family atmosphere and the hometown feeling just added to this great...location.More
Our family has been eating at Fatso's for over 20 years. We love everything they make. They have thin crust pizzas and deep dish pizzas, they serve the best wings in town. Over 20 beers on tap, wine, mixed drinks and a assortment of soda....Live music Friday & Saturday night and on Thursdays open microphone. Family owned, very friendly staff, get there early on Friday or you won't find a seat. Check out their website. Fatso's yum yum!More
So we went here on our first visit and had pizza. It was ok, not great. This was our second visit. My husband ordered the sausage sandwich and it states you can add onion and peppers so he told the waitress to add them. I...ordered the beef sandwich called The Works where you choose between mustard, mayo or Italian dressing. I first asked if the onion was grilled she said no, it goes thru the grill but still raw. So I told her definitely no onion and I'll take Italian dressing on mine. So.... After a lengthy wait for the two sandwiches my husband's had no onion or peppers AND the sandwich was horribly sloppy. Mine HAD raw onion and no Italian dressing but mayo. The waitress took the blame for my husband not getting the onions and peppers and blamed the kitchen for putting onion and the wrong condiment on mine. They also state on the menu that the sandwich is so large you won't be able to eat it all. NOT! They had a good deal on beer that is brewed especially for them. IMO when this many mistakes happen you should compensate the customer but they didn't. We won't go back.More
Generous toppings, plenty of cheese.......thin crust very good, not paper thin........mild sauce and sausage...not quite Well's Bros., Racine, WI but....I am too far to order Carryout! Will most definitely return, to try the early bird or lunch weekday specials!
