I love Pappadeax!! We eat here every few months. This review may offend some authentic Cajuns, but we take what we can get in Phoenix. My family of 5 ate here for Father's Day. Everyone loved their meal. We started with the Cape Cod Bay Mussels. You can't go wrong with anything served in a butter broth!! The whole bucket... More

My suggestion is early arrival times; otherwise, every night is a wait. I prefer to arrive any time before 5 M-F or around noon time Sat & Sun. I have had lunch and dinner over the years and have had a variety of different foods. I have yet to try something I did not like. Is does not show on... More

I have eaten here several times in the past few months, and enjoyed every visit. Oysters on the half-shell? Check! Delicious! Live Maine lobster? Check! Cooked perfectly! Filet mignon? Check! Excellent, but cooked a little less done than the medium rare I ordered. The Caribbean lobster served with it, on the other hand, was overcooked enough to bring a little... More

We'll call it a date night meal. My wife had not been there before; I had been with a friend for lunch a couple of times. Fortunately I had made reservation;upon our arrival there were several diners waiting for a table outside in the Arizona heat. Due to mixup on the spelling of my name we waited 2 minutes before... We live about 90 miles from this place, but eat here every chance we get. Lunch is great, but I have a hard time getting past the wedge salad and a glass of wine. I think they call it Cajun or Louisiana-style seafood, but I can't vouch for its authenticity - just how delicious everything is. My husband loves their... More

We cane here with 10 people for my friends birthday. This place is a great place to eat! From the service to the food you can't go wrong! The coconut shrimp is fabulous. I also ordered a beefsteak salad and was surprised it had no beef or greens in it. It was a tomato cut in half with cheese onion... More

I was referred to Pappadeaux my first business trip to Phoenix and have made it a point to go every time I am in town. (Dallas also). This trip I wanted something on the menu they had run out of and selected an alternate meal. Let me backtrack by saying the waiter, Kirk, was fantastic. He was real and showed... More

When of my favorite things to do is to go to Pappadeaux sit at the bar and have their outstanding oysters. Papa does is a very busy place and sitting at the bar droids a long wait many nights. The bartenders are always friendly and the oysters cannot be beat. Oysters are served beautifully on ice in a special oyster... More

This was my first visit to a Pappadeaux's restaurant outside of the Dallas-Ft. Worth Airport and I was truly amazed. The restaurant at DFW is something I always look forward to when traveling. In fact, I will schedule a longer layover when I can just to eat at Pappadeaux"s. So when I saw that there is a Pappadeaux's near our... More
