My colleagues and I went here for lunch because we love the lunch buffet at India Paradise in Scottsdale. We figured central Phoenix off Bell Road would be cheaper and equally good. Wrong. First bad omen was the reception guy didn't greet us. He just stared at us. We said, "Three please." He walked us to a table with 2... More

Heard mixed reviews but wanted to try out for ourselves. It was a weekday lunch buffet. Number of dishes were few. The paneer gravy was watery. Dal tadka ran out 90 minutes before the buffet end time, but no one bothered to replenish (even after reminder). Although the complimentary dosa was ordered even before we could sit down, the dosa... The restaurant almost serves food in a way satisfying just western and north-indian community who can't really know the actual taste the south indian food though the restaurant has typical south indian foods prepared by south-indian chefs. Affordable buffet but taste is not great for the price you pay. Also, they quicken you in such a way that you vacate... More

This hotel has Sunday and Saturday buffet as well. The spread was good for the money. Parotta was missing in their menu.

We came here for the first time based on the reviews. We love Indian food and this was the first time to sample the fare here. We arrived just after the establishment opened for dinner at 5:30 PM. The dining area is large but we were seated in a small corner with two other parties. One of the groups was... More

The place is clean and the ambience is good. Service is good and the staff friendly. Jamoon and Mango custard were good, The items were many, but the taste was not upto the mark. Masala dosa needs more roasting, but the potato palya inside was good. Sambar and Rasam were okay, The tori was very cold and not cooked properly. Raitha... More

Had ordered multiple dishes and all fell short of the quality. Medu wada and Samosas were just reheated so was hard and not crunchy respectively. The sambhar was not spicy as some spices were reduced. The worst was the gulab jamun and the rasmalai. Gulab jamun are sweet balls and they are served hot and soft but the ones served... More

My vegetarian Indian friend suggested to go there as she read pretty good reviews about the restaurant. I didn't know what to expect as I am not familiar with Indian food, but I am interested to try different food, so I appreciate to go to a buffet since I can try from everything and see what I like best. It... More

My wife and I are pretty regulars at this place. We are vegetarians and this is one place we have found the taste consistent across all out visits. The menu items that we try out most often are lacha paratha, paneer butter masala and vegetable biriyani. They have tasted good every single time. Don't try the buffet during weekdays. Not... More

I am a vegetarian and finding a pure vegetarian restaurant in Phoenix is a blessing. The food is very good. For dinner they start serving around 6. Very good south Indian food like idli, dosa, papadam etc. The service is not great. Many items on the menu are not available like Indian tea etc. But must go to place for... More
