Stopped here during a failed spring training camp trip. The service was friendly and quick. Margaritas were tasty and the food was delicious. The flour tortillas were very thin and tasty. I have never had them so thin before. All homemade. The rolled quesadilla and chicken carne picado were perfect choices off of their house specialities. Will come back next time we are in Phoenix.

The staff seated guests so that social distancing was more than adequate. All staff wore masks and the place appeared very clean. When I asked about hand sanitizer, our server invited us to use one on the wall. The service was respectful and attentive. Our food was served hot and was amazing! Very impressed!

We had such a nice experience today at Manuel's celebrating 3 birthdays with a total of 20 people. Our server Chris did an excellent job making sure everyone 's needs were met . The food was delicious and brought to us in a very timely manner. We would highly recommend this restaurant.

We order takeout from Manuel's on Cave Creek Road occasionally. I just noticed that orders placed online, whether takeout or delivery, are charged a "Convenience Fee" of $1.50. Can anyone advise what this fee is? I realize eating might be considered a "Convenience" but just don't understand it. Fry's Foods doesn't charge a convenience fee. Amazon doesn't charge a convenience fee?

I recommend the fajitas, but I've never been disappointed in any of Manuel's food. The late afternoon servers, however, acted like they were doing us a favor. Manuel's needs some secret shopper quality control.

Had eaten at other Manuel's in the area and ate here because it was close to our hotel. The food served is traditional Arizona Mexican and really good. We love the cheese crisp and the chili relleno. The service was good and helpful. All in all a very good Mexican restaurant in the Phoenix area.

Everything has gotten smaller very disappointed. Tacos tostada and enchiladas have shrunk in size. I have eaten here since it opened in the 70s.

We ordered online for Cinco de Mayo hours in advance of pickup. We went before the appointed time and the crazy began. They have no idea we had an order and the online number meant nothing to them. 45 Minutes later we cancelled the order along with MANY other people waiting in the same boat. One had an order to be delivered and had to drive in and been waiting for 2 hours! They blamed the online company and took no responsibility for the issues. If you chose a company you need to understand when they fail YOU FAIL. I will NEVER frequent Manuels even if the food was FREE.I have to say this was a HUGE disappointment and an epic fail on their part

This restaurant has been around a long time....and for good reason. The food was really good. The margaraitas were good. The service was excellent. Good value for the money. Enjoyed the salsa and chips to start. Overall, we really enjoyed this spot and hope to return.

Stopped here based on the reviews. We were not disappointed. I had a Texas Margarita and it was very good. My daughter had the burrito especial and I had the tres enchiladas. Both were very good. The portions were generous. Overall a very good dinner. I would go again.

Wow, what a sizzling heap of goodness; chicken, peppers, onions. Easily shareable for two. Add a margarita, and a beer and you have happy hour (or dinner for us) for $30 plus tip.

Authentic classic Mexican food can be found when dining at Manuel’s. From the moment you arrive you know that a big treat awaits.
The staff is very helpful and friendly. They are always aiming to ensure you have a wonderful experience
Their mixed fajitas were top notch. Full of flavor and a bit of spicy from the peppers. The refried beans were cooked from scratch and seasoned well
For dessert I highly recommend the fried ice cream.

What a treat to have lunch here. My mother used to take us to Manuel’s in the 80s and 90s. And they still have the best salsa on the planet! The Pollo Especial is delicious. I just wish we lived closer to a restaurant. Gilbert needs a Manuel’s!!

We went on New Years Day. They were busy but we only waited 10 minutes for a table. Quick service, great drinks and food. We enjoyed the wait staff
