This is a really neat restaurant. The owners have really worked hard to have this a success. In the years we have been dining there, they have almost doubled in size. In addition to the restaurant and bar, there is a small store that sells British food products. The selection is wonderful as they have frozen, packaged and canned foods.... More

If you're looking for a great fish and chips, this is the place! Mum & I both had a large portion of true cod, breaded and deep fried to perfection (or baked for lighter fare) with nice crisp chips. Good selection of bottle & tap beers plus they DO know how to pour a Guinness ! My sister had Bangers... More

We drive 60 miles round trip for the best English fish & chips in the area! Great British shop for sweets as well!

Have gone twice in one week. Bangers & Mash the first time. Large Cod (2 pieces vs 1 for small) the second time. Great food! The batter on the cod is perfect. Thin, tasty, crunchy. They serve a variety of beers-draft & bottle. But most important, they serve GUINESS!!!

We try and stop at this small little gem when we are in the area. Delicious haddock!! If only they would open a location closer to Peoria.....Love all the British memorabilia.

The fried cod is delicious! Tender and flaky. Plenty of options for Irish and English beer and the strawberry soft serve is the perfect ending. It's not fancy, it's tucked away in a strip mall. But the food is good and the servers are friendly.

This place has food that feels like it's been put in the microwave from some freezer for 3 minutes and then served. Food seems either greasy or bland. Though I will say bangers and mash is genuine mediocre I recommend it. Otherwise there's an over priced "grocery store" in there. Don't go, skip it.

Stopped by to see if it had improved since it first opened when the food was awful. Well no improvement, myself and my son both felt nauseated an hour later. He had a scotch egg, I had a Cornish pastie, being English we are good judges of the English foods around the valley. The next day I had a bad... More

Liked this place a lot, food was pretty good to OK. But, it really needs an update: Stuff on walls were held up by thumbtacks; Blinds at sunset didn't keep out blinding light; air conditioning not even on when it was 90 degrees... I could go on. I'd try again if I was in the area, but I'm way over... More

I've visited London twice, and Codfather's shepherd's pie is the best I've had since my trips to the UK. My parents and brother both agreed, as each of them enjoyed some cod and chips. Additionally, the wait staff is both friendly and efficient. I would recommend Codfather's to anyone looking for ample portions, quality food, and superior customer service.
