About
Chef Justin Beckett brings together what matters to him most: family, friends and honest, incredible food. With considerable help from his partners and longtime friends Scott and Katie Stephens and his wife Michelle, Beckett has created an irresistible hangout for his discerning Arcadia/Biltmore neighbors, people who expect comfort and sophistication in equal measure and get it here. The same grounded approach is evident on the menu, which emphasizes seasonal American cooking in dishes such as pork osso buco confit, creamy grits and spicy andouille sausage with mustard jus, short ribs with mashed potatoes and grilled cheese. Factor in the inviting bar, roomy patio and community table, and it

The chef is the real deal and his commitment to making staple food dishes extraordinary has paid off. Deviled eggs, Mac and cheese, grilled cheese and tomato soup and the like... are all extraordinary. Of course there are other fish and meat options for those...who want to raise the bar on food type. The pecan and fig pie deserves its extraordinary reputation. The ambience matches the food..casual, but exceptionally well done.More

They promote and offer 50% discounts on wine but when the bill was processed, the full price was charged. Did not notice until after returning home. The order was processed by the manager.

First time here and we loved it! Celebrating a Birthday, it was a perfect place, atmosphere was very lively, the place was bright. I had made a Saturday 7:00 dinner reservation for 4. upon arrival, we were greeted and seated right away, the restaurant was...full. Our server Amanda was great! We ordered cocktails while looking over the menu. Because we wanted to save room for the famous Chocolate Dipped Bacon S'mores desert, we went straight for the entrees: Shrimp, Sausage & Super Creamy Local Grits, Beckett's Table Signature Fork Tender Short Ribs, Smoke & Grilled Tender belly Pork Chop. When the dishes came out they looked great, hot and fresh and tasted fabulous. Desert came with a candle, we all shared, it was good, but the weakest our of all the dishes... LOL I could of just done with 5 extra pieces of the Chocolate Dipped Bacon though. :) Atmosphere: casual and lively, Service: excellent, Food: excellentMore

Like many restuarants in the Pheonix area, Beckett's had more of an informal atmosphere. However, the menu had some interesting entries and some good wines (Some of the prices were on the higher end.) The service was excellent and accommodating.

So I and a colleague decided to talk about our business over dinner at Beckett's Table in Phoenix. The good reviews were well-deserved. Everyone on the staff was welcoming and friendly. The waiter made sound suggestions. The menu and drink list are unique (but similar...to their sister restaurant--Southern Rail), servings were large, and the food was delicious. There was just two of us. But they have areas/setups that could accommodate business or family groups.More

Beckett's offers a large, airy room and some outdoor space. The appearance is pleasant, noise level moderate. Staff were friendly. We went for restaurant week but only one of us had that prix fixe menu. We had three courses. Salads were unsurprising. The potato and...leek soup was a little more distinctive - tangy. We all had short ribs. Portions were large, the meet was melt-in-your mouth, but there wasn't a lot of taste. We ordered three different deserts (annoyed that no substitution was allowed for the restaurant week menu). The signature pecan and fig pie was good, and a distinctive variant on the standard pecan (though to my taste not better than a good example of that). The cobbler was probably the best (and again, a large helping). The flourless chocolate cake was unremarkable at best. Just for the food, I would have given only three stars. Nice staff brought it up.More

This was a combination of Mother’s Day and graduation weekend. Beckett’s Table is in the Arcadia district of Phoenix and right off Indian School Road in a little strip shopping center. The restaurant had a relaxed but refined feel. Noise level might be a bit...much if someone has hearing issues. We had an excellent bottle of wine at an unbelievable low price. We also had a few servings of deviled eggs and they we beautiful and tasty. The food was absolutely delicious and beautifully plated. Very attractive. Our server was beyond superb. Very attentive and knowledgeable. We had eight dinners, a bottle of wine, and a generous tip for right at $300 which is very reasonable. Overall, I would definitely go back to Beckett’s Table!More

Good service. Nice place. Waiter recommended pork chop; said it was to die for. Delayed for 30 min due to a large table. Chop was good, but bland, chewy and dry. I think they need to brine it, or cook it less. Spaetzle was good....Potato/greens that came with the chop were very good, but needed more. Because the chop was bland, it needs a kicker.More
