We were there for a conference and this is within walking distance of the convention center, The portions were very large, my friend and I shared a meal and were very pleased with the meal so much we went back before we left town.

I come here during the weeknights to play trivia. It is a nice place drink eat pretty good pub style bar food, and hang out. The service is very good and the range of beers is above average. It is a bit noisy, and maybe a bit to clean to be a great pub, but you will enjoy yourself.

If it were air conditioned we would go back but the atmosphere is old and kind of dirty which is tolerable. One pool table in front with complimentary music playing. The plates were small and probably not the best fish and chips I've had(only one piece of fish) the beer was good but it does not accommodate a larger crowd.

Very casual pub in an old house at Heritage Square. Reasonable food choices, especially at lunch. Fish & Chips were super. Lots of beer choices. My only complaint: I didn't like the grunge music. Try for outside seating on nice days.

We dropped in for a late lunch after a movie at the museum. The food was quite good, and it was family-friendly for an afternoon outing.

This place serves some great classics and provides an atmosphere suitable for drinks and conversation all night. Started with the Scotch Eggs: pretty good but served with brown gravy instead of hot mustard but they had it available. I could have eaten a dozen of these! Cottage Pie: It's a classic and they kept it traditionally simple. Well made and... More

I love the vibe of this place and the great beer selection. I used to come here for study group session in law school, but now I like to bring my kids. They enjoy the historic building and old school music.

Ended up at the Rose and Crown on this trip, as the nearby place we had planned to go had unexpectedly closed their doors (even though the website was still active). On my last trip I had a couple of IPA's and the fish and chips which were quite good... for pub food... this trip I went with the hot... More

Saw this walking by. Was not disappointed. Good food, beer selection and service. The flys outside were annoying.

Kind of an odd place for an English pub, located near the city's tourist center, but the food was great.
