This is a nice place for some southwestern food with a different flare. A little expensive, but we had good service and our dishes were delicious. Celebrated Fathers Day for a special occasion.

I have dined at this restaurant in the past and really enjoyed it. I thought the food had been very good and the atmosphere was enjoyable. However, recently I was disappointed. It could be what I ordered, and the others at the table were happy with their food. I ordered a roasted beet salad however, the beets were not roasted... More

Was staying at the Hilton and all the dinner choices there were resort food. We did a map search and found this gem with quick service and friendly staff. My wife had the chicken and pasta dish and for me and my son we went with the burgers. It was one of the best burgers of my life with all... More

It would be hard to describe this place as "Mexican". The food is just to diverse. Granted they serve a great ceviche, but the Pork Osso Bucco is off-the-charts great. And, you don't find that many Mexican places serving dishes like Santa Cruz Pasta. This a unique combination of fresh pasta, lightly but deliciously sauced, served with marinated pork and... More

Having visited SBG several times we requested a mini-cater for seven people on a special occasion. From soup to nuts (rather salsa to gelato) it was flawless. Generally, I'd recommend diners to visit the location because the ambience is at the level of the food.

This place has a cozy atmosphere. The menu selection was unexpected for a restaurant with the word "Grill" in its name. It was so hard to decide what to order. When you read the ingredients in each entre, coupled with the fact that they use fresh local ingredients, everything sounds delicious and interesting. The pork tenderloin however peaked my interest... More

Absolutely wonderful. From Miguel's Mule to the gelato dessert. In between we had Hopper's Poppers. Our 3 entries were Santa Cruz Pasta, Buttermilk Chicken and the Smoked Green Chili Pork Roast. The decision was unanimous. Why hadn't we been here before? Our wait person was caring and attentive. Nate Hopper the Mgr., I assume the Poppers bear his name, spoke... More

My husband and I were visiting Phoenix and we went to this restaurant with some friends. The atmosphere was great--very cozy and close to our friend's neighborhood. The staff was attentive and friendly. We ordered the popper appetizer and for whatever reason, they forgot to submit the order so it came out with our dinners. The waiter was kind enough... More

I have been in with friends a few times for happy hour. The food is decent, but the service is so so. I was in for drinks with friends in December and the bartender was sick. Whatever she had, I got it and I was laid up in bed for over a week. There are so many great places to... More

The Sierra Bonita Grill is named after the historic Sierra Bonita Ranch in South Eastern Arizona. Founded by Henry Hooker in 1872, the Sierra Bonita Ranch was known for it’s hospitality and innovative ranching methods. We would like to celebrate the spirit represented by Mr. Hooker and other pioneer ranches throughout Arizona with our restaurant and hope to continue the tradition of great food and hospitality. Our menu reflects the hearty cooking style of Southern Arizona ranches, many of which were started by Spanish and Mexican families. We will continue to explore the ongoing Mexican and Latin influences on this area’s culture and food. Patio seating available to accommodate 30 people.
