Terrible menu for the week. The barramundi was awful, and the meat on the ribs (item from regular menu) was so tough that even with steak knife it could not be cut. Then the next day I got a vm asking to provide feedback on...my evening’s meal. I called the number provided, left a message and I am still waiting for them to return my call. Nice, right? I am local, live close by and don’t plan on going back.More

Our son and his wife recommended El Chorro after their brunch experience. Tonight, a special evening with family for dinner. Christina was our sever and guided us through the restaurant week menu (surprise) and the main menu. The cocktails -wonderful! The Manhattan, best one ever...exquisite...spicing and solid pour. Appetizers were great, but very disappointed in the “giant” shrimp cocktail. While the Bloody Mary horseradish sauce was unbelievable...the shrimp while tasty are no bigger than a 50-cent piece. We’re from Charleston, SC...now THAT’s giant shrimp. Salads were delicious! Caesar and wedge were SO good! Dinner!? WOW! My wife and son devoured their own ribeye. They each got side sauces, just for a taste-both excellent. My daughter-in-law did restaurant week with beef cheeks...she said, “melt-in-your-mouth”. Apparently new on the menu...pork ribs!? WHAT!? Asked to see Chef Bryan from the kitchen...the are phenomenal. Truly. The meat was perfectly done and the sauce SO scrumptious. He’s someone to watch ladies and gentlemen. So overall, a fantastic experience. Did I mention the view!? We will be back, next trip. Well done.More

I’ve lived here all my life but hadn’t been to El Chorro since the 70s. My 86 year old mom, when I mentioned we were going, shouted out “sticky buns “! I picked this place because it was our anniversary and we had essentially not...been to a restaurant for the past year. But we were both vaccinated and they have a beautiful patio. The weather was perfect my wife is gorgeous, and it was just a perfect evening. I also selected El Chorro because of their separate vegan menu. My wife was able to find some amazing dishes and I loved my trout almandine as well as the sticky buns. The service was amazing and I just can’t say enough good things about the place. The only negative would be the price, which is a little bit more than you’re going to pay at other restaurants, but it was well worth it for us.More

I've had many a good meal in my life, but few rival the meal we had at El Chorro. The scallops with risotto was quite simply one of the best dinners I've ever had! My husband had the shortribs which he said were great but...he ate them so fast I never got a taste! The restaurant is beautiful - inside and out. The wine list was decent. My only "complaint" would be the famous cinnamon buns they serve before the meal - they are delicious but so sweet we would have preferred them for dessert and it felt weird to eat them before hand.More

We sat out on the patio, which has great views, and the vibe was super energetic. Instead of handing out menus, the table had tiny sheets with a QR code to scan with your phone and that brought up their menu. I love how more...restaurants are starting to do this! They have a great cocktail list and their wine list was extensive and offered something for all budgets. We ended up ordering a few bottles of the En Route Pinot Noir through tour the night...it’s one of our favorites. There were many delicious options to choose from for dinner. I am a huge short rib fan so naturally I went with their braised beef short ribs...and it was phenomenal!! It came with a garlic potato puree, garden carrots & haricots vert. Seriously might have been the best beef short ribs I’ve had anywhere!! Oh, and their sticky buns are out of this world...make sure to try those!! The service was also on point all night. We all had an incredible experience and cannot wait to come back!!More

Yes I believe there were. Not a big selection but enough. The view is fantastic so it should override the limited veggie option.
