My husband and I dined at Prado recently. We had dined here a few years ago and hadn't returned because we we not impressed with food. We decided to give it another try and are so glad we did. Our meal, this time, was a completely different experience. Everything was prepared with the utmost care. It was presented beautifully and... More

Earlier this year Alex Stratta returned to Paradise Valley as executive chef at Prado, the spanish restaurant in the Omni Montelucia Resort. In the 90s, Chef Stratra raised Mary Elaine's (The Phoenician) to fame. The Prado's food is excellent: Moroccan lamb shanks, braised beef, grilled octopus, kale salad, veal cheeks. The ambience, particularly around dusk is lovely with views over... More

I am often wary of resort restaurants because they have a captive audience. I don't go to them in my hometown and I was unsure about trying this one. I'm glad I did, because it was exceptionally good. The food was creative, artfully presented, and delicious. The service was terrific. It was perfect for a special occasion.

While staying at the resort for a meeting, I had two dinners and breakfast at Prado. All three meals were exceptional. The service was perfect. The food was nicely prepared with a lot of delightful surprises in the ingredients and preparation. While the menu isn't that large, you just can't go wrong. Between the two evenings, we tried every single... More

The surroundings were beautiful. Our party of ten had no trouble getting reservations two hours before dinner in the nearly-empty restaurant on a 112 degree early summer evening in Scottsdale. When the food arrived, one dish was missing and we sat a long time awaiting the service to our final colleague. She repeatedly invited us to start without her, but... More

Lucky us. We live practically down the street from Prado. We love going as a couple or with friends. The food is excellent, the service tops and the decor has a flair of its own. We like sitting towards the patio if we want an outside view, but inside is usually bustling and great people watching. I'm not sure if... More

I had the pleasure of dining for Brunch for a surprise birthday party. The Bellini's were sweet and refreshing. The service was top notch, the spread was scrumptious. I have been to the M Bar many times but never dined at Prado. I was impressed by the Saturday morning/afternoon ambience. The main room was decorated for the party, so much... More

We stayed at the Montelucia a couple weeks ago and the breakfast is great here! Either the buffet or a-la-carte is great, we had both. Try the burgers, waffles, sweet potato tots, or the bread pudding. We also had lunch here, which was much better than Centro, the restaurant closer to the pool.

This restaurant is beautiful, inside and out! We had dinner on the patio, which turned out to be a little warm after a glass of wine. The service is excellent. Our party of four started out with the bacon wrapped dates (amazing). Our salads were delicious (kale and the beet salad), although they were a little big (needed less greens).... More
