Similar to the rest of the resort, Prado is an Oasis. For brunch, the made to order waffles (with the batter made right in front of you) left a lasting impression...as did the omlettes. For happy hour, the service was wonderful (Matt, a bartender) was attentive, helpful, friendly and accommodating. He, made a lasting impression. The restaurant itself is tastefully... More

Great place to eat if you want to stay on the grounds and not travel outside through Scottsdale where the police are everywhere. Stay here and get a great meal everytime!

The food is amazing and it starts with the excellent bread that they bring you together with pesto, while you wait for your food to come. The choice of dishes is very interesting and diverse, and the food is cooked to perfection. A little pricy, but justified by the general atmosphere and service.

My wife and I stayed at Omni over the weekend, and had dinner at Prado Saturday evening. The service was initially good. Upon being seated, water and bread was brought and our drink order was taken. Based on recommendations, we ordered the Sea Bass and the Lamb Shank. The Sea Bass was a bit dry, and the overall flavor left... More

While enjoying a local Arizona staycation, we decided to try a new restaurant as we were staying nearby. We decided to try Prado as the menu looked intriguing while looking at options online. We were not disaapointed. The three piece jazz combo in the bar area provided a nice background - pleasant music and not too loud. We decided to... More

While staying at the Omni I ate in the Prado for two dinners and two breakfasts. Great resort restaurant - Meals were all very good as was the service. I would certainly return but not go out of my way to find it if I wasn't staying at the resort.

My husband and I dined at Prado recently. We had dined here a few years ago and hadn't returned because we we not impressed with food. We decided to give it another try and are so glad we did. Earlier this year Alex Stratta returned to Paradise Valley as executive chef at Prado, the spanish restaurant in the Omni Montelucia Resort. In the 90s, Chef Stratra raised Mary Elaine's (The Phoenician) to fame. The Prado's food is excellent: Moroccan lamb shanks, braised beef, grilled octopus, kale salad, veal cheeks. The ambience, particularly around dusk is lovely with views over... More

I am often wary of resort restaurants because they have a captive audience. I don't go to them in my hometown and I was unsure about trying this one. I'm glad I did, because it was exceptionally good. The food was creative, artfully presented, and delicious. The service was terrific. It was perfect for a special occasion.
